"Had the Christmas Sausage Wellington and Parsnip soup. Tasty but dry. Veg was a bit sparse and soup a bit thin. Staff were cheery and friendly. Hopefully it will develop."

"We visited last Saturday as a family, 2 adults, 1 teen 1 other teen didn’t make it). It was just lovely. So so friendly, great atmosphere and really comfortable in every way. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service, and just the overall joy of the place, is a little piece of village heaven in these post-covid times? My son left his mobile behind and a lovely waiter went out of his way to reunite them! Then, this evening, we ordered online take away for a group of sleep over teens- I walked in to collect it and was immediately greeted warmly, asking if my son now had his phone back safely! I was offered a complimentary glass of wine while I waited, only a few minutes, for my order. I chatted with a lady who was also waiting with a glass of vino for her take away. This restaurant feels so welcoming in the community, following the months of the pandemic and I am so grateful for it. Thankyou, all of you, in the Bookham Tandoori, for welcoming us back so really brilliantly!"

"I had this as my favorite withdrawal already as my adult children and I loved many menu dishes from this can and I would normally collect . according to Covid-19 and the necessity to isolate, I realized that their contact-free delivery service was second-user. their delivery service also out makes just eat and deliveroo services that are in order, but by the wok express team better."

"Absolutely delicious food, very welcoming and staff are lovely. It's a small seating area but truly lovely. Dine in, take away is an option and there is an additional two tables situated outside the front of the restaurant. Rialto also sell an amazing array of ice creams, I am never disappointed with the ice cream flavours sold, all made by them I believe and flavours change weekly. I always visit and there is never a disappointing visit. Parking: Around the back there is a large car park which is paid for (unsure on pricing but I know it is relatively cheap). There is also parking on the street that Rialto is on, around 6 or 7 spaces depending on the parking of others. Kid-friendliness: Kids sized portions and ice creams which kids will love. Soft Play is now closed and has been for a while."

"Lovely setting with pond and ducks out the front and large open space at the back, large car park and comfortable room, nice hotel, just the food was a bit of a let down, very bland and tasteless dinner , and breakfast was ok but...nothing special, not much of it either especially for a vegetarian"

"Within an hour of order it was delivered and we ate. so impressed. beautiful vegetarian options, clean tasting, beautiful aromas. definitiw our new go-to-Chinese restaurant. exactly what we needed during the shutdown and the supplier was fully masked and glove for additional comfort."

"From the start it was obvious this is a well run establishment with engaged and engaging staff. A welcoming greeting when we arrived was followed by prompt but not over fussy service delivering menus and a great beer brewed on the premises (Leith Hill Brewery)....This was Sunday lunch so I had the pork ham terrine followed by a plentiful Sunday roast of beef and all the timings. In an age when most places seem to serve veg etc as an afterthought you could tell this was all super fresh and cooked to order. Simply one of the best Sunday roasts I have had in a pub or restaurant of any standard in a very long time."
