"We were a little reluctant to dine here after reading some reviews but were very happy with our food. We thought the pub was nice, very clean and service was friendly and reasonably good. However, it was very confusing on entering. Is it table service? No. Where do I order my meal? At the front bar. Do I collect my meal? No, it will be brought to your table. I had to ask all these questions! Later I heard another customer ask the same things and the waitperson told her that they should get a sign. Yes please!!"

"We were heading north and stopped in Morpeth for lunch and a quick look at the shops (according to my wife there is a very good ladies fashion store here!!). Nice country cafe with pleasant views from the balcony room. Food was good and service friendly. Yes we will come back here, if we are ever in Morpeth again!!"
