"This small bistro-style restaurant is located in the centre of Münsteran. Already from the outside, through the floor-to-ceiling windows, the great interesting photographs of the Himalayan statue and the colourful prayer flags spoke to us. A golden cheerful Buddha at the entrance welcomes visitors. Nepalese we had never eaten and a trip there is still on our Bucket list, so why not even try out new ones we thought. Offered are various curries, grill dishes, rolled flakes, Momo filled Nepalese pasta bags, vegetarian and vegan foods, ayurvedic dishes, Nepalese beers, etc. All available foods are prepared with a variety of spices and fresh ingredients and are available in different degrees of sharpness. The dishes divided into groups provide information about the degree of sharpness, from Group 8 for the unskilled pubic to Group 4 for lovers of the extremely sharp dishes. In addition to the description, each court has a fire symbol so that it can also be seen here for the layman what degree of sharpness it is from 0 very mild to 4 extremely sharp. At noon Tuesday to Friday from 12:00 p.m. there are cheap lunch table 2 dishes by choice of buffet with rice with 1 drink for only 8.90 euros We were very kindly greeted, almost all tables were already occupied, only 2 small tables free. Sauces served mint, sweet sour, sharp Kathmandu lamb curry with spinach on basmati rice slightly sharp, but very tasty Nepali Thali various Nepali specialties with rice in my case chicken, spinach and potatoes with mixed vegetables with various exotic spices smelled good and also tasted so. Only the presentation of our food we did not like. The dishes were served in rectangular metal bowls with depressions in which the dishes were filled, reminded us strongly of youth hostel visits during our school hours. Otherwise, the Nepalese food does not differ significantly from the North Indian cuisine as we find. Had expected us a little more and could not understand the partly euphoric reviews on the net. To quench the thirst served us 1 Everest beer well and guava juice prima Since the tables were very tight when the table was behind my chair too occupied, I could hardly move my chair back to get up, but had to disturb Hintermann and the place was almost fully booked, it was very loud during our visit. We also noticed that in the Mero Buddha almost exclusively very young audiences are moving."
