"We’ve been to Vishala twice now, during road trips from Bangalore to Kerala. And we stopped off at Vishala because the breakfast we have had there is good. No frills, nothing fancy, just plain good food.<br>

We’ve tried the Mysore masala dosa, regular masala dosa, plain dosa, idli and vadas there. And all items are really good. And add to that some good strong coffee, and we have a real winner.<br>

Location – part of Hotel Paradise. I’m not from Mysore so not sure about how convenient it is or how centrally located, but it was pretty easy to find with the GPS.<br>

Service – we have always landed up pretty early and they are just starting, but even then it has been good.<br>

Value for money – definitely.<br>

"Good hotel and well known to all who'd like to eat vegetarian food in Mysore.About the service, there's no reason to complain as Staff and the Captain especially were very helpful.The Food, is OK but not really Good as people did tell me.The restaurant immediately shows its age when you step in(its built somewhere in the late 1970's , and glasses & crockery still remind of that initial purchases of the hotel), and the table linen is not always clean nor washed.It's somewhat a nostalgic place to dine, especially in the evenings but apart from that , Nothing exceptional to tell about."

Known for its seafood and vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes in the Mangalorean style, this restaurant is frequented by highway travelers between Bangalore-Mysore-Coorg-Kerala. <br>

Although I had heard a lot about the restaurant, my experience here was average. We had Veg Manchow Soup, Prawns Fry, Parothas and Pomfret Fist Curry. The soup had an average taste with an overpowering taste of black pepper. The prawn roast was deliciously crispy and flavorful, well accompanied by mint chutney. The parothas could have been a little softer. The fist was excellent, well cooked and soft to easily melt in your mouth. The curry was a bit sour (more tomatoes) than expected. The portion sizes were good. <br>

"Very cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. The meal was excellent. We ordered the north Indian thali, special thali and aalo parathas. We felt like we had home cooked food. Perfect level of spice and the right amount of masala. They made sure we didn't order too much so the food would be wasted. Why waste food when you can avoid it? :) Appreciate this thought from them. However, the gulab jam served with the special meal can be made better."
