"If you visit this area, you need to book in this minshuku. You could eat the traditional dishes with a vegan version if you ask the owner beforehand. The house is amazing near a river and the meal is delicious."

"Have soy milk for coffee matcha! Staff spoke English quite well so I was able to communicate what I could and couldn't have they were very accommodating! The seating is traditional Japanese (on the floor) with little tables! Heaps of charging outlets and wifi too, so an excellent spot to wind down after a long day of monkey spotting!"

"We were very pleased to have delicious vegan oyaki in such a convenient location. We ate here multiple times trying almost every flavour. The adzuki bean ones were slighty sweet and we liked having that one for dessert. Of the savoury ones, we particularly enjoyed the mixed vegetable and one of the types of mushroom varieties."
