"We have been customers for the last 5 years or so. When in Nelson shopping , occasionally we will get Chinese takeout for home. Truly have yet to be disappointed. A little dumbfounded by all the negative reviews."

"We went out for dinner in Nelson and chose this restaurant because it offers a Chinese buffet. Unfortunately the dishes were tasteless. How do you ruin chow mein? The selection was also limited. And, the food was only warm not hot. The only good food was the carrot that was served as a dessert. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Meal is very reasonable. I don't think we would go back although ordering off the menu may be a better option."

"Great pizza! Excellent taste, albeit a little overpriced. Would still get 5 stars, but knocked down to 4 for having just watched a teenaged customer totally get chastised by the staff for not answering loud enough when his order was ready and they called out his name. (Everyone has bad days and this was nearing the end of a rush so take it in context, but really? This one instance is enough to compel me to try other pizza places in town before coming back."

"We had been recommended to try all seasons cafe. We come to Nelson annually and love the restaurants and service at the places we frequent. After being told to try all season Café we were left with our only negative experience. I looked up the menu online and it had a variety of plates to try as well as nice wine list. Upon arriving the welcome received was definitely unwelcoming. Our server dropped a plastic menu off and quickly hurried away. The menu online was completely different and much larger than the small limited menu we were presented with. When I inquired as to the online menu being larger the server rudely replied everything is larger online. I asked if they had the smoked tuna carpaccio as I wasn’t completely clear as per his response He said they have scallops. Moral of the story. Don’t go here. There are so many fantastic restaurants in Nelson. Ie: marzano (italian) pitchfork (next door to ASC) relish, Hume hotel. Cantina el central. The only disappointment"

"Stopped in for a quick lunch and a beer. Beer selection is small, however the food was great. Worth a stop, has good a/c which is a plus as well."

"Of all the fast food options we’ve come across in Canada, A&W definitely has the best vegetarian options... they now have a Beyond burger in addition to their Vegie Supreme burger (which isn’t always listed on the menu, just ask for it). I like that they have both options... Beyond for vegetarians vegans who miss eating meat... Veggie Supreme for those of us who don’t want a vegie burger that is trying to taste like meat (yuck, no thanks). Plus, the Beyond burger seems to be everywhere now so it’s really nice to have an alternative veggie option. My partner also really liked the burger he had (and he’s pretty picky). Neither of us had any complaints."

"Reading a previous review, I came for the breakfast wrap. Unfortunately the menu had changed and so I went for the burger (though the tofu bowl was tempting. The burger made up for the initial disappointment as it was nice thick juicy burger with lot's of (pickled flavour going on. I can't make up my mind if the glass ketchup bottle was a pro or a con as shaking it violently to get some ketchup out of it gave me some positive childhood flash backs. Updated from previous review on 2020-08-18"
