"I ordered a bacon, sausage and egg sandwich and it was amazing. The bun was dipped which took me back to my childhood and there was plenty of filling. It was made fresh to order and the service is as quick as it can be....Prices are very good for what you get. Staff are friendly and attentive."

"Very friendly staff and a warm welcome. Showed to our table. We ordered drinks and a small x large Fish n Chips. They were fantastic with home made chips x mushy peas. 10 out of 10 and the plus side no signs of access grease. The best I have tasted in a while."

"Our visit today gave us fantastic food and drink. hubby had cappuccino with mandelmilch (he is a convertor in mandelmilch now and a sausage sandwich he said was delicious I managed to get a small bite and I second his mind. I had chai with milk, again my first time as it was recommended, and I just went to the shops this afternoon to buy some. my sandwich was probably the best I ever tried. beetroot, falafel, olive, I think sweet chili jam only wow! I'm not vegetarian, but I can honestly say if I could convert this kind of food every day I would have converted to any case! already on the next visit"

"The cafe was dog central the morning we called in for breakfast all were impeccably well behaved after a morning on the beach, and treats were dispensed to all dogs by the staff. Our human treats were the sausage rolls which were tasty and freshly prepared."

"Beautiful, friendly bistro in the heart of whitley bay. we visited during the vegan restaurant week as the online menu was so appetizing and ordered 3 courses for a bargain 17. from the starters we got the broken plant tempura with coriander hummus and spinat, garlic and cashew nuts ravioli with spinat, walnut and chili pesto. both starters were deliciously fresh and tasteful. for the net I ordered the Lensmoussaka with grilled aubergines, béchamel sauce, garlic bread and some of the best melted free of cheese I have ever tasted while my wife got the veg-pie with veg, kartoffel and onion-gred. again, both dishes were absolutely excellent. the quality has not stopped. the sticky toffee pudding was the sky and the coconut toffee sauce was to die while the amaretto and chocolate mousse cake was divine. let them hope that the success of the vegan week will be some of these dishes the regular menu."

"Food is always fantastic here, really good produce and freshly cooked for you. We are regular breakfasters here. They also welcome dogs, which we love. As does our hound. Hes always greeted with a biscuit."

"Quick pop in today with family. Just gone 12pm on a Thursday and particularly busy. Found a nice table and ordered the food and drinks at the bar. Staff are great. I chose here because of the extensive menu so all 4 of us were catered for including the vegetarian among us and the good prices. A lot of the meals were under £10 which is handy these days. Was told by one of the family that the roast beef on the roast of the day was a bit tough but ok. Got to admit I was a bit disappointed with my “homemade corned beef pie” as it was simply a bit of puff pastry sliced in half with a dollop of hash inserted inside. Not the beautiful short crust pastry plate pie most pubs and cafe’s serve up. Overall, a decent enough visit for the quality and price but nothing that excites. Service was very good even though busy and the place is very dog friendly."
