"Me and my two girlfriends were stuck to find a place for dinner on a Saturday night finding that most places had booked out. We came across pop up and they made us a reservation without any hassle. The owner was lovely and very welcoming. The food and cocktails were absolutely amazing and decently priced as well. Such a cute restaurant, great good,great staff, live singer/guitarist/trumpet player. you even get to make you're own guacamole !!!!!!! Does it get any better than that. Loved everything about this place and would definitely come back ! Love love love"

"Amanda's was recommended to us for a great place to eat especially as we were vegetarian and they had a good menu. The starters were great, fresh and a good portion, the main (tofu curry) was ok, way too spicy for my husband. Downsides were you gas to pay $2.50 for a measly bread roll, unheard of! The service was slow and reactive with little or no interest in the guests. Food took over 70 minutes as well.Would never go back and certainly not cheap!"

"Partly disappointed as Circa closed for a wedding and 88 is where we had breakfast so it still looks like a breakfast room with cereals etc so def missing ambience of a restaurant to start with !Service however very sweet and young staff did a wonderful job!Very limited menu and tasting board very disappointing and flavourless !Beef cheeks however good but not outstanding for the price - Handy though as staying at Convent and didn't have to drive !"

The wait staff are on the ball, drinks menu delicious and the best part for me as a vegetarian, the menu was gob smackingly awesome. Standouts were the silken tofu & cheese dish! Big thumbs up as it was a memorable evening!"

"We dined at Esca on Saturday evening. We chose the 2 course A-la Carte menu for $60pp and I was a little dubious about it being worth the $60 but the dishes were just lovely. I had the vegetarian option of the mushroom gnocchi and the flavours were outstanding. It was a hard decision for me to go for the vegeterian option but my friend chose the bug tail which came with a melt in the mouth piece of smoked pork jowl which I got to try as well and that was delicious as well.....we both ordered the braised beef short rib and I have nothing bad to say about this dish either....it was divine!!"

"Delicious food and excellent service. I had the zucchini flower stuffed with seafood (delicious) followed by the lamb (spectacular!) and the toasted marshmallow dessert ( a little dry, but nice) Everyone present, and there were 14 of us, enjoyed their meals and we all look forward to returning one day."

"This cafe is in a good location with both inside and courtyard seating. Both the breakfast and luncheon menus offer a good range of dishes, some a little bit different from the usual cafe fare. Food was good. We had the bacon and egg roll and the free range eggs. Coffee was also good. Service was efficient and friendly. Recommend booking."
