"I love Doner Kebabs and this is seriously the best kebab shop in Vancouver! What a lovely lady who runs the business and made us feel very welcome visiting from Australia! Fresh food the pita bread made right in front of your mouth watering...eyes! The salad fresh and I left my platter so clean they could have easily used it again! Something for everyone including our vegetarian friends. Truly a great experience including keeping our teenagers in check! Seriously a memorable experience!! If you are in the area you would do well to make the effort of making the stop. Thank you Mumma for a beautiful next to home cooked meal away from home! thanks to our Port Moody friends for sharing this experience and not keeping it secret."

"So I went on 23 april with my mom and 2 children 8 and 3rd at 17.00 clock to a table for 4. it's just outside of eating because of the government at the moment. After they went around the block several times, at 530, went back. to check how much longer. the fraudulent blonde, sitting, said should be soon. my son decided to walk on the terrace, 3, as he becomes very restless and hungry. as I look after him, I see an empty table. I say blondie and she says, okay, I'll sit you after I sit these people. an older couple that just stopped. I said you can sit down first, we've been waiting for half an hour, and they just ran up because my son is trying to run away from me. So then the couple complained, even though they heard me say how long I waited, and saw my son try to get away from me, so I neverminded. I'll sit myself. how serious! watch for the people who wait the longest, and who obviously try to control their child. So I'm just on the eye roll. het too table, a waitress cleanses it and looks awful to see us. I'm trying to explain to her, we've been waiting for a long time, we've been starving, and I'm trying to calm down my son. hard to do while you're talking about the block. then we sit and there is no chair. the stupid ass manager who has the personality of a turnip stares at us. I'll win him and ask for another chair. he says no. I've been dealing with this arrogant idiot before. he has no customer service skills and chooses to fight with customers instead of helping them. he says that it is not enough of a plastic wall to separate us from this other table, but as my mother there was a few nights before, from herself, she saw 4 people sitting there. so choose them and choose who they want to receive. then he beats us to a bare-high table, with a small child. So he can fall from the chair and split his head? I told him to forget. I can't handle this inability anymore and we're leaving. So if you want to have a place on a terrace to eat, if you don't have children, then they treat you like a license. the manager is a useless meathead, and the only reason we were at this place is because we can walk there. it's in our neighbours and I have a gift card I wanted to use. So we went back to romers, also in our neighbourship, and as usual got excellent food and service there and sat immediately."

"We bought the combo plate with a choice of curry and pad Thai. Along with that some spring rolls. We were only one of 2 tables being served but they were pretty busy with take out orders . Service a little slow. Curry yummy, wasn't...my fav pad thai, not a lot of atmosphere. Price little high I thought for individual meals"

"I must say that despite low expectations, this place was a pleasant surprise. The food here was decent and the service and atmosphere was genuinely friendly. I liked their down to basics attitude to menu selections and really liked their commitment to qulaity.<br/ <br/ You won't find anything here that you haven't had before, but you will appreciate it when you eat it here."

"I keep coming back to Original’s because the food is tasty, the atmosphere is great and most importantly there is a doggie friendly patio.This evening our server (who ultimately disappeared , made sure to take our appetizer and dinner meals separately so the kitchen made sure they came out accordingly… and then they came out at the same time. There was confusion on her part on the happy hour menu offerings, and if the service was more attentive I am certain our table would have ordered another round of drinks. Not once did she check in to see how we were doing, and eventually someone (who seemed to be the manager? took over the entire patio full of tables.To top it all off, I got my fajitas in 3 separate trips the plate of chicken, 10 mins later my sauces and then about 20 mins later my tortillas (after asking twice I appreciate that this was comped from my bill. Another person at my table had food delivered even later but only after we inquired, and were told the food was “dropped by the kitchen”. Having been in customer service over 20 years, there are many better ways that news could have been delivered (even if less honest… .Ultimately, after tonight, I don’t know if we will be back. I hope whatever may be plaguing the lack of attentive service is remedied as Original’s really does have some decent food."

"I was killing time before an appointment and looking for a coffee shop and stumbled upon this one. Best caramel macchiato I have ever had! And the lemon bar I got was delicious as well!"

"I grabbed a soy latte here the other day and it was surprisingly good. Cute cafe and looks like they serve lots of homemade food items. Seems a bit overpriced but I just came back from living in Asia for the last year so I think everything feels expensive to me! I also came in to order holding my 7lb yorkie dog in my hand and it was not a problem. BC feels very dog friendly and I'm loving it! There even had doggie treats at the counter where you grab your coffee so that was great! :"
