"While they don't have a GF menu they have many GF options. Ask the server who will talk to the chef and let you know what is available that day. I had a super yummy lamb chili with tortilla chips. Nice view of the Portree Harbor as well. Only draw back is they close at 5 or 6 pm so come in for breakfast or lunch or early dinner."

"I ate tonight. They had GF elements that are marked on the menu, which is helpful and they notice if they can make something GF compliant. No deserts and the baker in the house does not make GF bread, as suggested by another poster."

"An excellent restaurant, possibly Skye's best kept secret. Our host for the evening Will was full of charm and interesting stories on where our selected wines were from. Be sure to draw on his extremely detailed knowledge of whiskies throughout Scotland But the food, the FOOD. Our tasting menu was absolutely divine, featuring seasonal products from across the island and recipes that lean heavily on nose to tail' cuisine. The fish we ate has been caught that morning, the beef reared a stone's throw away. We absolutely loved every bite If you are on Skye, this should be the top option on your restaurant list. Five stars!!!"

"Do not condemn a book from the deck! the kitchen is very good and portions are huge! there are many vegetarian options. the personal remains friendly even if it is very busy. the prices are reasonable. the position itself has a very specific character, looks as if it had received the greatest part of its look from the 19th century!"

"Warm and cozy restaurant in Portee. We had made a reservation for later in the evening but due to our tour ending early we stopped by to see if we could get in and had no issues even though it was fairly busy. We had the savory donuts as a starter and the peanut butter cookies for dessert, both were delicious. Unfortunately the Beef Cheeks were a bit dry. While we might not make it back to Portee anytime soon, when we do we would love to try Dulse and Brose again! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend"
