"This has to be one of the best meals we have had in Germany. The service we had was warm and friendly and the food was delicious. My hubbie had tender steak in a peppercorn sauce and I had a hamburger that was huge. For...desserts he had a creme brûlée and I had an apple strudel. A nice bottle of wine and a coupe of drinks and a bottle of water later and all of this cost us €80. Yes we would definitely recommend this and yes we would definitely go back!"

"Wir waren als Gruppe von befreundeten Paaren in diesem Lokal. Uns hat der abend sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war bodenständig rustikal, hat aber allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Man hat gemerkt, daß es frisch zubereitet war und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war sehr gut. Sehr empfehlenswert."

"Stradt Frankfurt was incredible. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Our server was very friendly and made us feel so welcomed. As American tourists, this type of service is not always the case. The cream of mushroom soup was amazing. My husband had the pork knuckle and he was so happy. The prices are also very reasonable. We saw many locals there and that’s great because it tells you that it’s not a tourist trap. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rudensheim am Rhein, Germany."

"Having not found anywhere with availability for dinner we stumbled across this place it looked OK from the outside and they had space. They do however allow smoking in the outer dining area and the rear dining area, where we sat, was a bit souless. The food we had was just OK, but certainly nothing to write home about, but the service was pleasant enough."

"We ate there a couple of times during a stay in Assmanshaussen. The menu is typical German with plenty of pork and schnitzel to choose from. The food was fine, the beer and wine too. There are a couple of vegetarian options which were well received by the veges in the group."

"This restaurant is in a tourist town so keeping that in mind, it was a pretty good meal. What keeps me from giving it a higher score was the service. We arrived at lunch time but we were not greeted, eventually we sat ourselves down at an empty table. When we were helped, we ordered the mixed grill. It was good, however being up charged for the vegetables and salad when we were under the impression it was included with what we ordered was irritating. What also makes me give a lower rating is that this was the only restaurant on the entire trip that gave me a credit card receipt asking for a tip. As tipping is not done as much in Europe, it didn’t seem appropriate for them to be doing this."
