"Very well designed on a Mexican style.Great Tacos, Salsas and Enchiladas; Nachos and Mexican Drinks like Jamaica and Horchata. Mexican Beer also available, Mexican Margaritas and Tequila.The owners, Jose Miguel Garcia (A funny & smart Mexican guy) who married a Colombian Girl, decided to see how much would the Colombian People like Mexican Food; so he and his wife decided to open this place; and they were absolutely right, they enjoy Mexican Food, as we witnessed while having dinner.Both very friendly, food delivered on time, warm and with the Mexican Seasoning, Flavor and Spicy, as Mexican food is.They also have lots of Mexican Stuff, from T-Shirts, Dolls, Candy, and more."

"We came for lunch and when we said we were vegan, were presented with 2 options for a menu del día, a lentil stew or bean stew served with rice, potatoes, a juice, and a small desert. Everything was tasty and filling and had a comfort food feel. Sergio was so kind and helpful, when I mentioned I wanted to do parapente he booked a tour for me for the next day leaving from La Mansion. Best vegan option I found in San Gil and sweet staff in a nice courtyard setting."

"The Eco-Hostel La Pacha where we stayed for a few nights (highly recommended!) also has a vegetarian restaurant. Besides the best breakfast we had in more than a month in Colombia we also tried the delicious Sandwich and Veggie Burger. The restaurant on a small hill beside the road between San Gil and Barichara is well worth a stop, even when you are not staying in the hostel."

"We stayed in San Gil for more than a week and went for lunchtime to this lunchrestaurant. From the main square it's a 10 minutes walk (at your right side), the sign is not clear. It's a restaurant that attracks the locals. It's run by a really nice lady. The food (soup main dish fresh juice) is delicious and the portions are huge. Every day the menu changes, all made with fresh ingredients. The menu consist of local food, vegetarian (arepitas, avocado salad, potatoes,.. And... It's really cheap (COP 5500/ menu). Don't miss this place, it's worth to look for it!"
