"Super friendly service and a nicely decorated place, but the food just really didn’t meet my expectations. Everything tasted preprepared: The deep fried squid was overcooked and the licorice sauce was too rich. It needed something citric or fresh to lift it. I mentioned my disappointment to the waiter but he just asked me if I thought that the food was technically well executed and when I said that it was he seemed satisfied with that. For my palate it’s not just a question of perfect technical execution it’s also about flavours and balances. For my main course I had fish which had been rolled into a sort of rolled form but the skin had been left on it which I didn’t appreciate as it was steamed. So it wasn’t a bad meal but given it’s price and Michelin recognition I expected more."
