"This café is located in the middle of Westfield shopping centre. Stopped off at the café for bite to eat and drinks with my husband and 3 year old during a shopping trip. I had bought a couple of take away sushi rolls from another place. My husband ordered a full plate of food and a coffee and 2 milkshakes for my 3 year old and I. Total cost of the order was around $30. The café was relatively empty when we arrived. When the waitress brought the drinks around she noticed that I was eating a sushi roll and said that customers were not allowed to bring food bought from elsewhere into the café and that I should stop eating it. I still had the sushi box out when the manager/owner came past shortly thereafter and said that customers were not allowed to bring other food into her café and I should put it away immediately. I said I was not aware of this policy, and that there really should be a sign out the front to say that this was the policy if she felt so strongly about it. I wouldn't have come in if that was the case. She said she'd had people buy a bottle of water and eat McDonalds at the café. This clearly wasn't the case with us. I said that my daughter is allergic (anaphylactic) to dairy, nuts and eggs (which are in most things) and that I had also brought some food for her. This didn't sway her and she said suggested that there were other places we could go to in the circumstances like a food court! At that point I really should have asked her to refund the money for the food that had not yet been served and just gotten the hell out of there. Given it's location, this café should be doing a roaring trade, but not when it treats its paying customers with such rudeness and contempt. There are so many other customer-friendly cafés to go to - I would definitely give this one a big miss."

"Ive was too high tee in this beautiful location over 5 times now, only southwest of sydney in beautiful @peppers_manorhouse! my bf and I had our first high tee here, so it is a very special place for us the first time we went, was obviously our favorite, but it has not changed much in the course of the years. the constant victors are always their supper selection, strange enough this time around was pumpkin and it was delicious! the scenes are always great and are my fave part of high tee, paired with generous amounts of berry jam and vanilla bean cream after their high tee, I really recommend exploring the landmarks here! there are many nice photo options, including outdoor picnic sets, pavillons, and a fountain with koi fish! it is even more breathtaking in autumn, where they are surrounded by golden red leaves, check out my food instagram @erinxeats for more!"
