"Brand new, fine dining restaurant which only uses local produce foraged ingredients. Run by 3 young, very talented chefs James, a very friendly knowledgeable front of house. Our meal highlights were the Pink Chihuahua cocktail; the sole croquette starter; homemade sourdough bread with honey mustard butter the hot caramel souffle with hazlenuts vanilla butter. Highly recommended."

"I visited here with friends and we were warmly welcomed even when we arrived early. all the other tables were filled while we were there, many people have eaten their food significantly, but it never seemed too loud or too busy. the service was attentive and friendly. I really enjoyed my meal, although I am very picky what I eat. there was no hurry and the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. the negative reviews I've read here do not seem to fit cafe mumbai at all I would definitely go back."

"There was a vegan pizza on the menu and the chef confirmed all sides were vegan, bar the garlic bread but he made me a vegan version with oil instead of butter. Menu is limited at the moment due to covid, but the pizza was incredible!"
