"We booked the tasting menu, expecting tasty, bold dishes. What we got was excellent service, a cozy venue and a hugely disappointing 12 course tasteless tasting menu. Presentation of dishes were excellent but the foods were bland, the meat dry and with flavourless purée as a side. Textures were gritty. I usually really enjoy tasting menus and booked this an a treat for our 5 year anniversary. No food allergies so the standard menu. Would warn others off the tasting menu. The a la carte may be better. Cocktails were excellent"

"Never have I loved a salad more than the amazing salads at Green The Grain! I miss working downtown just for the salad. Glad I’m able to get to their food truck once in awhile! I would rate them 10 stars if that was an option!"
