"Ordered takeout, 2 main dishes and 2 side dishes and some wings. Spent $85 and was extremely disappointed. Will definitely not be coming back here. This place is garbage. We both felt horrible after, and completely dissatisfied. You can get a lot of quality food at these prices."

"The staff here are courageous, heroic human beings, especially the hostess with the ponytail and red lipstick. I was visiting Vancouver on business and learned very quickly that it is an overrated and unsafe area full of aggressive homeless people. I was walking downtown trying to find a good spot for lunch and I ended up getting followed by a drug addict for the 29th time that day. I was fearing for my safety and walked into the first place I saw, which just so happened to be here. He followed me into this restaurant, caused a scene and started yelling incoherent things at me. The fearless warriors at this restaurant did not call the cops or 911, or tell the man to get out of their restaurant where there were people clearly uncomfortable with the whole scene, but what they DID do was the AMAZING act of giving me a place to sit to regain my bearings after such a traumatic scene! What thoughtful, caring heroes! I think Mother Theresa works at this restaurant with how protective they are of the people who enter their establishment! And it gets even better they never ONCE offered me a drink of water or food, or asked me if I was okay. But they are heroes because they did the bare minimum and gave me a place to sit! SOMEONE GIVE THESE PEOPLE THE PURPLE HEART!"

"If you have a passion for Montreal Smoked meat, then Dunn's on Seymour, just south of Robson is the place to go to in Vancouver. Authentic. The smoked meat is exactly what you'd expect from a Montreal deli, in your choice of lean, medium or very juicy (more fatty) cuts in either a 4 oz., 6 oz. or an 8 oz. serving. For me, I usually go for the 6 oz medium so I can combine it with either a side of their freshly cut fries, or a side of their wonderful potato salad. Their extensive menu hosts a range of other sandwiches, from pulled pork, to Rueben's, beef dip and more. You'd likely be intrigued by their offering of six different poutines, which start with their fresh cut fries and include their from-scratch beef gravy. I have tried the cheesecake and can attest that is is both authentic and very good."

"Went there for lunch, they have a decent size menu for a small place. Make sure you leave room for their soft serve green tea ice cream, but the cookie on top is gross."

"Placed an order for 2 pizza's and a salad- a bit pricy but always want to support local small business. Was told 25 mins. Arrived after 25 mins and was told it would be 5 mins- paid by credit card and stepped out and came back a few minutes later. I was told it was still going to be 10-15. Restaurant had no more than 6-7 customers. I decided to sit at the bar and wait and was completely ignored by staff- after another 25 mins I asked about the status from the manager and overheard the cook say that he hadn't started the order. The manager then walked off with no apology, no explanation. There also was no attempt to provide customer service ( ie- we will rush the order, would you care for a drink.. Nothing!)I then cancelled my order and said I would go somewhere else- NO customer service was again provided ( ie so sorry, we are short staffed, our ovens broken, we are catering a huge group of invisible people..nothing!) Even though I paid with credit, The cook said that he had to give cash and he then pulled $60 out of his pocket and gave it to the manager (which is a whole other issue, handling money while cooking, but what do I know..) who then proceeded to attempt to get change from other staff in the restaurant... He even had the gall to not give me the exact amount (they technically still owe me .34). I was so appalled that I just walked out. Waits and mix ups happen- that's not what made it appalling- it was the wait with no customer service that will ensure that I never go back to this place. Very disappointing!"
