"We were really happy to have found this place! We came here several times during our holiday to try different options from the menu. The owner is a really nice and down to earth lady who runs the place by herself. When she went on holiday herself she was disappointed by the limited options she could eat being a vegetarian herself. So she decided to open O Meu Boteco. Her dishes are all beautiful and extensive. Everything is really fresh and there are healthy options. We had the salad, wrap, smoothiebowl, smoothies and juices. All quite cheap."

"We have eaten here in the past. It seems a quiet hotel restaurant but I believe it could be busier if they improved their fare. I had a Salada Mista to start and my wife had Crispy Chicken, unfortunately almost half the chicken nuggests were still partially frozen when served. Our main courses were much better my wife's first choice wasn't available but she settled for Grilled Black pork Loin which she enjoyed had the Couscous with grilled vegetables which was an excellent vegetarian mean. Service was very good, friendly staff. It was our experience in the past too that things we ordered from the menu were not available. We had mixed fruit for desert. We would have liked to eat there more often but the experience with the crispy chicken was off putting. We will, I'm sure, try it again when next we are in Manta Rota."

"Very dismal , 26 euros for 2 pizzas and 2 cokes . Tasteless pizza and pepperoni tough and hard to chew very bare and bland . Had better dr octer frozen pizzas . Calzone was bland too . Most of all the waiter was miserable and rude when asked for Tabasco sauce was looked at like I had asked for the earth . Dare not ask for pepper after that . Waiter never asked how the food was , smiled or anything nice . Hence this review , why this place has good reviews is beyond me . Won’t be trusting trip advisor any more"

"Very friendly, chatty and helpful staff. Nice enough atmosphere. Amazing pickle, but everything else was mediocre to be honest.
