"We dined in the gourmet part of Restaurant Sternen in Wangen/Dübendorf, the Badstube on a lovely summer evening. The setting is beautiful, and we were a bit out of earshot of a fairly loud rock band that played in the front of the restaurant. Decor, setting, etc. very promising. There are not too many choices on the menu, but it sounded appealing. Their wine list is large, and they have many good bottles from Switzerland that are relatively inexpensive. The food was only OK. The amuse bouche in our opinion was the best part of the meal. The main courses were all too salty, and it took forever for the waitress to bring out the food maybe the event in the front kept their kitchen crew too busy? In any case, the place could do really well if they only improved on a couple of small aspects."
