"The Café Stalder in Uzwil, Switzerland is a spacious cafe that serves brunch and lunch, and is open on Sundays for those looking for a nice place to eat a traditional meal. They have friendly service and were open to our family of four with two children, eight and ten. There is a small children's menu and some vegetarian offerings as well.On Sunday, they have special brunch menus. I had to Cordon Blue Schnitzel with fries and roasted vegetables. The schnitzel was well prepared, moist and full of flavor. The roasted carrots and, in particular, the fennel were very good. My wife had the Rosti with tomatoes, which was good, but perhaps a bit bland and the portion was large. Our daughters had the Wiener Schnitzel and the Chicken Nuggets respectively, and both finished theirs easily and spoke highly of the food. The salads were fresh, although they added too much dressing.The service was friendly and accommodating. Although I began ordering in German, once the server realized the kids were American, she easily slipped into English.In all, this was a serendipitous find and I've added it here in the hope that more people find it as they might be passing through the area."

"Siamo stati in sette a cenare in questo ristorante curiosi per vedere in realtà questa fondue chinoise a volontà occasione del compleanno di mia moglie si è a discrezione ma prima portata carne buona un colore ben rosso e mangiabile ma la seconda portata congelata e colore scuro. 45 minuti per averepovero cameriere solo a lavorare. Abbiamo chiesto al Titolare per avere informazioni sulla carne congelata , lui ci a risposto in una maniera molto maleducato a dei clienti che per forse 800 gr di carne da noi consumato per un di 340fr. Direi un po esagerato. Tanto non tornarci."

"Das Essen, der Kaffee, die Atmosphäre, die Einrichtung, die freundliche Bedienung, es stimmt einfach alles im La Moka! Ich war mit Freunden dort zum Zmittag. Man kommt herein und fühlt sich gleich wohl. Es war schwer, sich für eins der lecker aussehenden Tagesmenüs (immer gut: den Tischnachbarn in die Teller schauen) oder etwas von der Karte zu entscheiden. Ich hatte Lust auf Salat (die meisten Gerichte sind fleischlos, es gibt Varianten mit Trockenfleisch) und entschied mich für den Wintersalat mit Pilzen, Granatapfelkernen und mit Käse überbackenen Kartoffeln. Alles passte geschmacklich wunderbar zusammen. Der Risotto mit Kressepesto, den meine Freunde wählten, wurde auch hochgelobt. Selbst gemachter Schoggikuchen und Apfel-Zimt-Streuselkuchen mit feinem Kaffee (Rösterei in der Region) rundeten dieses Wohlfühl-Esserlebnis perfekt ab. Das La Moka hat für jeden und jede etwas, unbedingt hingehen!"
