"Amazing service and a really nice atmosphere. Chips were a bit overdone but the tacos were absolutely delicious. The grilled steak and pulled pork were both absolutely fantastic. Dog friendly."

"Superb! This cosy Bistro is world class, without a doubt one of the best meals I've had in Whitby or in fact many destinations. 2 or 3 courses on offer. Enough variety to suit most palates the menu was seasonal and felt super fresh. I course 2 courses, the Duck confit and the Belly of pork and both exceeded expectations, the other half has the Salt cod croquettes and chicken which he thourily enjoyed, a lovely reasonably priced white rioja finishing it off. The staff were warm and friendly without being intrusive, a credit! Definitely a place for a romantic meal or a cosy meal with friends. We hope to visit again soon."

"Thanks to happy kuh I knew there was somewhere in z goathland that had vegan options. first sat at the wrong place, but then the right one found there are some vegan options a vegan breakfast until midday, a linda mccartney sausage sandwich, sweet soup, and jackenkartoffeln with vegan options like bon or chili I went with the vegan chili jacket kartoffeln. how was it? Well, the kartoffel tasted as if it had been warmed up and the texture suggested the same to be fair, that is understandable, that wait for the food could otherwise have been too long. the chili was tasty, but not enough hit to be called chili. I suppose they have to get on the side of the country to be not too hot. there was an salat with the jacket kartoffel, but disappointing had no salat dressing just simple salat, gurke, carrot and radishes. a bit dressing would have greatly improved overall although very pleased to find vegan options, especially after the attempt of the tee room at the other end of the green, when we asked if they had vegan options, the answer was "no if they could find something among the cookies" now that was disappointing in this day and age. happy we found the right place at the other end of the green"

"Had the vegan chocolate wingcake! it was delicious. cafe is slightly chaotic. you might even have to wait outside! very beautiful decoration inside though and very cooled."

"Early bird meal on Saturday night. booking is recommended from 18 o'clock as it can be occupied. I and my partner had absolutely delicious food. full aromen and presentation 5* in any case will be recommended again and very. thanks for a fantastic night."

"Delicious home cooked lunch well presented with excellent variety of fresh tureened vegetables (cheesy leeks to die for Yorkshire puddings, 3 meats and such tasty gravy. Delightful service from 2 efficient ladies with a smiling warm welcome. Quality and ambiance perfect. Vegetarian options: May be possible to eliminate the meat and indulge in the variety of lovely vegetables. Parking: Fairly limited spaces especially if there is a golf competition. A nice walk from Upgang beach and along the Sandsend Rd.(30 mins? to the friendly golf club. Wheelchair accessibility: The access to the dining room is up a steep staircase. May be possible to eat in the ground floor club house."
