"Not a fan. This place changed owners (I think) and it is not as good now. The new owners are trying for a mix of their family ethnicities which is ok in theory but not great in practice. I believe it was the owner that greeted us, sat us, and waited on us. Service was great, no complaints there (hence the 3 stars). However, walking in we were greeted with a very strong smell of I'm not sure what incense, air freshener I don't know but it was overwhelming. In my opinion you should smell the great food walking into a restaurant, not an overwhelming scent that doesn't belong. I smelled it the entire time it was there never got used to it. The food was mediocre at best. My husband for the shrimp and grits and he was expecting some Salvadoran flair of some sort but he said it was very bland. The portion size was also small considering the price. I ordered an Italian option from the menu and chose the chicken Parmesan. It was okay but, honestly, I like my own better. Nothing special and no extras no starter salad, bread, Parmesan to add nothing but a bowl of spaghetti noodles with a piece of chicken on top. It left a lot to be desired in my opinion. Maybe just not our thing but I don't think we will be back."

"We were in the area hiking on the Ice Age trail and decided to come here because it was on Mammoth Hike Challenge Whitewater Trail Community Itinerary and we saw that other reviews had mentioned vegan/vegetarian food. We were pleasantly surprised! Wehad a flight of four beers and really enjoyed 3/4. The vegan burger was perfect and Mac and cheese was excellent as well.However, the prices don?t match the area or the level of service. $16 for a vegan burger?"

"Terrible. the service was terrible lasted 20 minutes to get drinks. salsa is the worst thing I've ever had, that verde had a pure tomato sauce with rusty and red. the children got cheese chasequesadillas and inside the tortilla shell was cold unmelted shrunk white cheese. it looked as if they were from a bag on the tortilla and put on the plate. I made better queensadillas in my microwave. the enchiladas had the same coarse tomato sauce salsa and the enchiladas lubricated as they were 4 days old. we had to bring the children to mcdonalds after we had spent 60 dollars here because the child's meals were terrible. also no fountain drinks. only coke or Mexican soda."
