"I came to a whim for my last meal in Hawaii before I returned to the mainland USA and wow... I really couldn't have asked for a better final meal on the island! Peace Cafe offered some of the best vegan comfort food I've ever had, drawing from Korean, Japanese, Moroccan, Mexican and American cuisine to offer unique delicious dishes at a really reasonable price. While the takeout took only operations a little away from the experience, I was honestly only so grateful that the Peace Cafe was still open during the pandemic and that I was able to try out their amazing dishes! I chose her Katsu plate with Tempeh, and it was absolutely incredible that the bread on the Katsu was wonderfully crispy, and the Tempeh was remarkably tasteful. The Katsu sauce was also amazing, it had the most beautiful curry flavor, and I honestly wish that I just buy a huge bottle of it and put it on everything I eat. Between the black and brown rice and massive tempeh snell the plate was incredibly filled, so I was really grateful for the small side salad and mixed greens to brighten the meal. My friend tried her Katsu plate with Tofu, so I had the opportunity to have a little side by the side comparison of the Tofu and Tempeh both are absolutely delightful, but I personally thought that the texture of the Tempeh paired a bit better with the rest of the plate. The Tofu was softer and slightly waterier, but if you are not the biggest fan of Tempeh (or just looking for something with a softer consistency), the Tofu is a really solid choice. One of my other friends tried their heart and Seoul, and also loved their vegans take on traditional Korean flavors. I honestly think you can't go wrong with their menu, and I can't wait to find my way back to Hawaii to try some of their other dishes!"

"I have a new job in town and was looking for a place to breakfast near work or a bus transfer. This is in the main dish in Ale Moana Shopping Center. I had two muffins, a little more than $2.50 each, banana chocolate and pumpkin nut. Both were delicious and seemed a bit healthy. The banana chocolate almost tasted like a bramuffin. I'm probably gonna eat a lot of muffins there. They also make other breakfast items until 11:00."

"Seriously, the best pizza we've ever had. We're from Michigan and travel a lot. This pizza is just delicious! The crust is unique, crisp and delicate, there is a ton of cheese and many fresh toppings. Great job!"
