"I've been to this place several times as it's one of the closest Cheesesteaks to my house. It's cool if you don't want to travel too far from fishtown but the cheesesteak is just okay. Fries are pretty good. The service is always friendly."

"Have slept on this place for way to long, I've grabbed a casual lunch and now delivery for dinner. This place is fantastic. The pita is great, the pita chips and garlic eggplant dip are delicious (especially for a garlic lover). The moustaki sampler platter is a genrous portion of sides plus three of the mains, I suggest the chicken souvlaki, loukaniko, and lamp gyro. The loukaniko might be my new favorite sausage with a kiss of orange and fennel. Roast veggies are great. I've also had the dips for lunch. Either way, would definitely recommend."

"I had like 15 mins left in my parking meter so needed a quick lunch. Stopped by and oh boy I?m glad I did. I got the cheesesteak and pepperoni pizza. The crust was so crispy but not burnt. The cheesesteak one was my favorite. The steak was so meaty and overall just a great bite with the cheese and crust. Pepperoni was also great. Will come back if in the area."

"Best tea selection in the area. Good coffee, though I wish they had more creative options (strawberry milk, coconut syrup, cinnamon creamer, etc. I just feel like their offerings are too conventional). The food is good, not great. I like their avocado toast with bacon. They used to serve their scones with clotted cream and jam, which I loved, but they stopped doing it, I think because not enough people ordered it. Shame. My biggest gripe lately is that they’re only open until 2pm. I miss the days when I could work there for hours, fueling myself with tea and pastries and sandwiches. The COVID signage they’ve implemented is confusing. I think the places that require masks or vax cards have it right, whereas Steap and Grind has indoor seating but labels on each table saying to keep your mask on, and nothing about vaccine cards. I think if you’re going to have indoor seating, people should not have to wear masks at their tables, and should not be made to feel uncomfortable about not doing so. If there is a concern with COVID, require vax cards for those dining indoors without masks. I think between the limited hours and alienating/confusing COVID signage, they’re losing a lot of customers. They are also understaffed, and the employees are visibly stressed out. I want to frequent them more and give them my money, but they make it tricky. I hope they are able to hire who they need, expand their hours, figure out their COVID messaging, and get that delicious unhealthy clotted cream back on their menu!"
