"Absolutely fantastic. Punjabi lamb and beef madras both highly recommended. Really fresh tasting curries, delicious and the garlic naan was superb. It's a big call, but this was quite possibly the best curry I've ever had. Great service. 10/10."

"I came here last night for an early dinner, we were the first in, and it didn't get much busier while we were there. Pleasantly surprised with the food. Tasty cheese and spinach naan. I tried the prawn curry, very fresh and plenty of prawns. The food was on the slightly oily side compared to most Indian style dishes that I've had. All in all, tasty and affordable."

"We heard that Taj Mahal had the best curries in Canberra and they were not wrong! We ordered entrees, naan (the best I've ever had) and three curries everything was quick, fresh and delicious and the young gentleman who served us was lovely. He...was very accommodating and served the whole restaurant solo without missing a beat. The decor is delightfully retro get the pink booth seating if you can! We will most definitely be back and will recommend to anyone."

"We had the non vegetarian banquet for $29.90 each. The starters were good with varying tastes. The mains were a bit bland. Probably our fault as we ordered a vegetarian curry to go with our non vegetarian banquet. One desert was edible the other offering I did not enjoy. The service was not good. My wife was advised that the banquet was 'gluten free'. When the banquet was delivered on inquiring she was advised that some parts of the banquet were not 'gluten free'. She was given ice cream as a substitute for her dessert after we were all given ice cream after our dessert request was confused. The ice cream was inedible. Tasted like cream that had gone off. We should of ordered individual dishes and may have had a better experience. My son had a more enjoyable experience when he visited. The restaurant has potential that passed us by."
