"Had a good vegetable curry here, very filling but worth every mouthful. <br/ The momos were great too for entree, a must when you go here. <br/ <br/ Overall very enjoyable. It's the kind of food though that would be great to curl up on the couch with in winter. I would definitely call here for a takeaway dinner and even to come back to the restaurant without question.<br/ <br/ Edit: chickpea and potato curry was fabulous- expect nothing more then lots of chickpeas and potatoes in a well spiced curry but it is perfect for a soul warming meal !"

"Looking for a nice relaxing curry and decided to try out Golden Curry Hut. It was a little strange to visit on a Saturday evening with no customers inside. Not deterred we went ahead with our order typical BIR order of Chicken Tikka Masala and Aloo Tikki. The order took a bit of time to come out, but eventually we had our food. I was surprised that the Aloo Tikki came with so much sauce I thought that I had ordered soup. The flavor was good so we continued. The Chicken Tikka masala, while tasty and obviously lots of fresh ingredients, was not the decadent cream and yoghurt based tomato based dish I was expecting, more of a ‘healthy style’ interpretation. While I accept that I may have unrealistic expectations, every CTM I have previously had made me regret my life due to it being so delicious I had to lick the plate clean, and this wasn’t it. "The worst indian place I've had in Melbourne. The butter chicken tasted terrible. We also ordered saffron rice and just got regular rice. Would not recommend."

"My family and I went for dinner here and it was amazing! The staff were very welcoming; especially the lady who greeted us when we entered. We were advised to scan the provided QR code for the menu and quickly ordered our dinner. We first ordered some masala chai which was good! Made me feel like I'm right back at home in Fiji. My family really enjoyed their food, while I enjoyed the Mango chicken and cheese Naan that I ordered for myself! Restaurant was clean and very accommodating. Will definitely come back here if we visit Melbourne again "

"Looks can often be deceiving. The building and decor may appear old and not in keeping with modern trends but quality and flavour out way all of that. Just delicious!! Favourite is the butter chicken tikka and the Bombay pizza with riata. Rice is always nice and fluffy and naan always fresh. Its never gone wrong. Just Yum!"
