"The best genune Indian food I ever ate. Git the mixed grill and each and every item was wonderfully flavored. The rice portion purchased separately was also very large. Wanted to try because ABC News said it was the best. Literally is the best flavored Indian food I ever ate. Going back for a second time in a week. Added to my go to stops."

"We visited on Christmas and they were a bit overwhelmed, not having expected the rush so were significantly understaffed. Delay to meal from a 7:30 open table reservation was 2 hrs. But it’s a new restaurant and they just didn’t plan for everyone in Raleigh to want Indian food on Christmas so cutting them some slack. Atmosphere was pleasant and colorful, food was good. Noise was not high for the size."

"Royal India has a fantastic selection of Indian dishes that are not easily found at other places. I ordered a sizzling royal sampler and it was fantastic. This is one of the oldest Indian restaurants in Raleigh and it is clear why it has been around for so long!"

"I’ve ordered from here 3 times now. I discovered them through Uber eats and was a little nervous. I ordered a small portion of their tikka masala and chicken biryani. I loved their chicken tikka masala while the biryani was ok. But my nephew loved the biryani more than the masala so hey… After ordering for the first time I went back (carry out) the next day to get a full portion so good! And quick service!"

"Whenever I have guest visiting, I bring them here. This restaurant offers fine dining at an affordable cost. I order the Lamb Vindaloo every time. Portions are enough for 1 or 2 depending on your appetite. EXCELLENT wine selections to choose from! They also have an outside dining area with fire pits that I can't wait to try now that the weather is warmer. You won't be disappointed."
