"Went here with family as we had a craving for Japanese food. We ordered Bento lunches and ramen. The food was served to each of us at staggered times instead of at the same time, which was awkward. The food was well presented but was...not notable. the ramen was bland. It's hard to make a call on this place as all we had was lunch. Based on this experience even though the place itself was interesting for it being in an old heritage house I would say the overall experience was average. We will try it again and this time for dinner. The place was busy so that must speak for its popularity. A future update to come..."

"This is a place we see all the time whenever we shop at the London Drugs. So we finally decided to give it a try. It was on a week night so not too busy.Nice Japanese style decor. Something very strange which hasn't happened before. When the waitress started to take out order, the phone at the counter rang and she decided to go and answer it. She ended up taking a pick up order on the phone for a few minutes. Meanwhile we're just sitting there waiting....and waiting. Finally another waitress walks by and took the order....it was very disorganized.The food was good though. We ordered a lot .really liked the Kiku roll, Katsudon and the sashimi. Be sure to try the Salmon Kama!Overall it was good but a bit pricey."

"I was kind of disappointed with the chicken teriyaki.The sauce was somewhat bland, overall salty instead of sweet, but the rice was nice. The chicken was ok, too.It's somewhat unusual compared to what I would get ordering chicken teriyaki at most other places.Like Umi Sushi Express in the same mall, who's chicken teriyaki I love very much.Their sushi is very yummy, though. I had the tropical roll. It was very flavorful."
