"So I made a reservation using open table and was turned away because they were closing in 30 minutes and the kitchen was closing... but that we could do take out. Do you not need the kitchen for takeout? It’s the same work only I’m sitting in the dining room. Also there were at least 5 other tables sat. It’s just none of the employees wanted to work. God forbid they receive a good tip for actually working. After 10 min of arguing with the manager saying we didn’t have reservations even though I showed her my confirmation email she said she would see what she can do. The audacity. We said forget it and went to sushi sake instead. Their service is always great and welcoming even at a late hour."

"Don’t judge by its retail appearance! $34 will get you huge fresh rolls with the most generous portions of fish. I do think they should invest a few grand in some ambiance though. Maybe not appropriate for date night, but if you’re looking for awesome quality and quantity sushi I don’t think you’ll be disappointed."

If you follow my reviews, you will notice I always order volcano rolls when we get sushi and can gauge how good a place is by this roll.If you try Blue Elephant, please please get the Volcano roll And you will Know what I mean.All 3 rolls were really good, the roll size was above average, and they don’t charge for eel sauce (always a plus for sushi).Also, the eel sauce was great quality, thick and sticky, and not too sweet. ?"
