"Tasty local ice cream shop. Walk up service with unique flavors. Flavor samples are not being offered at the time. The had beet ice cream and one with cinnamon. I like the flavor combinations they recommended on the menu board. The split cone is a nice choice for one scoop with two flavors. I tried lemon and cheesecake, which were ok. The Oreo and coffee combo was much tastier!! Enjoy"

"So delicious and very sweet! I have the cinnamon french toast and kartoffel and it was so good. they need a proof of vaccination for indoor eating, which is soothing, but make sure they have a photo of their card."

"Boomer 's seems to be the only quick and affordable place to grab a gluten-free burger on-the-go in Whatcom. There are surprisingly not many restaurants in town that have GF options, and when they do, it feels like your options are salad, or a tortilla chip and hummus. Tony Steacy, GM, goes the extra mile to make sure customers feel valued; and while, of course, no flour-heavy restaurant can promise to be 100% celiac-friendly, Boomer 's really does their best. My body shuts down when I have gluten- and I 'm sure to some folks that sounds fake , but honestly, it sucks to not be able to simply grab an easy meal. To be taken seriously, and never made to feel an inconvenience, at a burger joint??? Unexpected, and darn classy, y 'all. I am impressed by the customer service every time I go here, which is not often the case with many college-town restaurants. Thanks Boomer 's for treating your customers (me! so well. My bf and I had a lovely date night last night bc of you! Xo"

"Lovely environment with good indoor and outdoor seating. The beers were not good. My beer was a color I didn’t know a beer could be (maybe the tap was dirty). It tasted terrible- a hazy IPA. The service was subpar…we waited at our table about 10 minutes then we were intercepted by a waitress when we went to order from the bar. The menu looked like the best thing they had going. The Mac n cheese bites were tasty…a bit overdone. Would return before exploring the many other options around Bellingham. Cheers"

"I'm not a sushi person at all, never (it's the sea tang), but I really enjoyed everything we tried! There was also a mochi waffle. I made Mochi waffles myself, but I have a hard time finding it in the shops. It was nice and tasty with seasonal fruits. Try the poke afteros next time!"

"Great location, great food. Definitely come for the breakfast. I got the Belgian waffle with fresh fruit and subbed out the chocolate ganache for syrup whipped cream. My bf got their famous eggs benny on focaccia bread. Unfortunately the egg was over cooked. It’s supposed to be over easy so the yolk breaks on the bread because otherwise it’s dry. So he was a bit disappointed as they’re known for the eggs benny. His yolk was way over done. But maybe just an off day. I haven’t tried anything but the breakfast so I can’t speak to anything else but my Belgian waffle was super yummy. Prices are pretty average, maybe a bit higher than most, but you get large portions. Everywhere is expensive these days lol."
