"I am old fashion gluten chicken strip consumer but this place hit it out of the park with their GLUTEN FREE chicken strips. The chicken was perfect and the crust from the batter was perfect flaky not heavy. Their hottest sauce is hot a habanero salsa that has some serious kick. The cheese curds were pretty good and that?s coming from someone who been in Wisconsin best cheese facilities. I really enjoyed this place due to my wife being able actually enjoy some chickenstrips. The waffle fries were solid. Definitely recommend this place and I will be back when I am in Fargo."

"Humor me for a second: is there ever a place, whether restaurant, store or whatever that you don’t want to like, and it’s not really for any good reason other than because it’s really popular and “mainstream”? Anyone follow? Well, that was Silver Lining Creamery for me. But the more I’ve visited the more I’ve come to begrudgingly really enjoy it. It grew on me. Silver Lining is just too adorable and uplifting. It’s such a dainty ice cream shop and you can feel it’s sincerity in the setup and workers. What I love even better is that it’s locally owned and run- there’s only 2 locations: this one in Fargo, and one in Rapid City, SD. Dakota owned, as it says in the shop. And coincidentally, I was born in Rapid and graduated high school in Fargo, so both those cities are very important to my upbringing and have a special place in my heart, and that only increased my appreciation for Silver Lining too. And, their ice cream is actually good! The Oreo Lovers is an accidental discovery that’s fantastic- this is how all cookies and cream ice creams should taste, wowza! Even their sorbet is pretty darn tasty and tart. They switch up the flavors each day to keep it interesting too. Silver Lining has earned my respect!"

"My man had the Hi-Ho special. the burger was one of the best he ever had. came with everything they can eat, the waitress never came to see if he wanted more, or fill them in drinks. When she finally came back, we were ready to go. I had the fish sandwich (yes, I know it's a burger item) I would advise against the fish sandwich. it was a little over boiled. not enough fish per bungalow. the atmosphere was good. several different animals on hahn. we haven't tried anything since we were on a road trip in the opposite direction."

"As soon as I said I wanted a waffle, the person behind the counter nearly cut me off saying how it would take 30-40 minutes for the waffles. She seemed almost annoyed with us? Like annoyed we were even there? Anyway, a cursory glance at the menu would reveal that waffles are all they serve. It takes me 3 minutes to make a waffle at home, so I don't understand how it could take that long to make a waffle. We order anyway, as well as order some drinks. It takes thirty minutes for our drinks to come, and they're both wrong. We send them back, and the woman who took our order walks up to us and tells us that the receipt was wrong and we weren't charged for both of our drinks, then stands there, waiting for us to pay for it despite her who messed up our order. After a full hour, the food finally arrives and it was fine. A very average waffle. It tasted fine, all the toppings were on it. Shouldn't have taken an hour. Shouldn't have cost more than $10. I looked at the counter and thought that they must be short staffed... nope, they had more than enough people to be running an efficient coffee bar, and had even more people in the back with the waffles. I even saw in the back they have like 8 waffle irons. Then, after all of that, they expected us to bus our own table. We did not.I really hate to sound like a Karen but this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. I have no idea what the problem is, but if I were the owner or manger, I'd be embarrassed."
