"Showed up 20 min before closing and kitchen was closed. Lol. Lily didn 't really have a reason. Just went to the back, checked if the cooks were still there, and came back told me sorry lol we close soon. Was really awkward and weird. There were groups of people in there still hanging. Just seemed like they didn 't want to make any more food even though door dash was still accepting orders. "

"Stopped by due to good reviews, but was awfully disappointed. For the location, I expected much more. The concept of the restaurant and the aesthetic is nice, but if you're one to notice details, I wouldn't recommend Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the host and seated immediately (we had a reservation). She was a total sweetheart. 5 stars to her! She was super attentive, accommodating, and overall pleasant throughout our visit. The floors outside on the patio (street side) are unevenly paved, so when they hose down the area, there are puddles all over the place and the smell of dirty/ wet concrete is in the air. There were spiderwebs and just looked underwhelming in general. I asked to be moved inside. We sat indoors, in the middle section. It wasn't super clean but it was better. There was hair stuck on the tables, before the surface was glazed (or whatever they did to get the tops glossy). The plates were dirty crumbs and dried pieces of cilantro perhaps. The coffee wasn't bad. We ordered a Moscow mule and Sangria, not bad! For breakfast we had: the chicken flatbread (yummy), the spinach omelette (delicious), and the eggs in a frame (good, but too sweet for me). Overall, the food was pretty tasty and worth a try. However, by the time we got our food, my appetite was mostly gone due to the lack of cleanliness. Our waiter, Juan, was also great. He was extremely attentive and polite! 5 stars to the staffAnother random observation I made was that the plating is much too small in comparison to the food. It was not comfortable to eat"

"This place has amazing ice cream. I came with a friend and we shared ice cream Sunday. We had to wait to be seated due to being packed cause it was the weekend. We were seated so fast, didn't have to wait long at all. We shared an ice cream Sunday and I must say it hit the spot. Great place for dessert."

"I stumbled on this place going to SunCafe. I’ll tell you this, SunCafe will no longer be my frequent flier. This place is legit and so damn tasty. Tomato Soup. Outstanding. Sriracha Sweet Potatoes. Incredible. Mac and Cheese. Damn Tasty. Fresh Orange Juice. Perfect. Server was very helpful and friendly."

"I had been driving east on Ventura to another restaurants and saw this sandwich place located near where the Crave and Trader Joes is in Studio City my Valley Natives will know where I'm talking about). What caught my eyes was that they advertised vegan hot chicken sandwiches. I was pleased because finding alternative meat options near home is always a plus for me! Although I did not go that night, I did come back to try it out. Here's my review: FOOD If you're going to eat here, definitely order the Sanday Sandwich. Sanday Sandwich $13.99) I was so sleepy that I totally did not ask or realize that not everything on their menu was vegan oops). So I ended up ordering the regular Sanday Sandwich. The protein is generous in proportion and this places sells some excellent fries I'd come back just for their fries). I just wish I had asked for ketchup because I would have preferred a break from the orange sauce flavor that they gave me. It got a little overwhelming towards the end of my meal. Plant Salad Bowl $13.99) Unfortunately, I can not say I am a fan of this food item. There's something about the sweetness of the plant based chicken or the mayo like dressing that I was put off by. However, I do appreciate that they even offer a salad. It can be really hard to get my vegetable intake for the day. PRICE When comparing prices, 24 Hot Chicken Waffle Bar is more expensive than your other popular hot chicken sandwich places. For the hot chicken sandwich and fries, it costs $13.99. Fast food locations like Chick fil A and Raising Cane's sell hot chicken sandwiches going for approximately $3 $6 bucks depending on which sandwich you get excluding fries), and Popeyes for about $4 bucks excluding fries). Dave's Hot Chicken's technically sell sliders but they're pretty much like a hot chicken sandwich) and their combo deal is about $12 bucks. AMBIENCE This is a casual, clean eatery. Very industrial feeling. I do not know if I would come here with a group of friends. The seating near the window is bar style so you face a window which looks out into traffic. It looks like a lot of people walking through the doors were there to pick up food to deliver. Also, there is one bathroom. It's mostly clean but there are graffiti marks here and there. PARKING Honestly, although it is a busy part of the Valley. I have never been unable to find parking in this area. I can usually find parking in the plaza or on the street. It does sometimes take a second to get a spot during peak hours, but you will find a place to park! All in all, this is a casual, decent spot that I would come back for just to try what I initially wanted to try in the first place: their vegan hot sandwich."
