"Love this place! Dishes are very generous and tasty. The Nabiyaki Udon comes piping hot and full of goodies. Order the tempura on the side to get it with the dipping sauce. The Chicken Yakisoba is huge and comes on a searing hot plate. Shareable and very generous with meat and ... well, all of the ingredients! The staff are very friendly and responsive. Unlike its predecessor, Sushi Garden, that always feels short staffed, this place I can always get service right away whether it’s a refill of hot tea, or taking my order promptly. The place always seems to be full, even on a Monday night."

"This is the 2nd time Ive tried to order black rice and the 2nd time Ive picked it up with white rice and today they just said we tried to call you. I checked my phone log and there was only 1 spam call with no voice-mail. Secondly I asked for extra wasabi and there was barely enough to put on my 6 individual roll pieces. This restaurant continues to disappoint, which is unfortunate since its only 2 blocks from my house but I probably wont go back."

"Had to check this place out since it was in the neighbourhood. Kyuzo is a bit pricier than a lot of Japanese restaurants, but it really depends on what you order. If you get the right stuff, it's pretty worth it, imo! The salmon oshi sushi and parmesan beef rolls are both phenomenal, what they slightly lack in portions they more than make up for in flavour. The lamp chops and foie gras nigiri (OMG) were great too. The only thing slightly lacking was the ankimo. Not as flavorful as I've had in the past, would not order again. But otherwise I'd recommend it, will be back to try more."

"I have been here for brunch couple of times and I admit Glowbal is one of the best brunch places in Vancouver. Staff of super friendly and the ambiance of the place is superb. This is one of the rare places that you can make a reservation for weekend and it is suitable if you have a plan in advance and you don’t want to wait in line. Food is high quality and they usually have an special meal of the day. They typically serve complimentary mini donuts and shots of smoothie which is a very nice gesture. Overall, it’s a great a place and I do recommend it."
