"Great small brunch in Midtown. Ordered the garden omelette and Fruit Pancakes. The omelette was delicious and light, I am still hungry for more. Wife had the pancakes and said they were too sweet so I had a bite! Without the cream and fruit the pancakes were amazing. Next will have to order custom pancakes for her."

"Meal and ambience were great, however we made a reservation for and were done our meal by and were just having some casual after dinner drinks, when the hostess approached us and basically gave us the hint, to get on our way as other guest were coming!!! We had only been their hour and mins and were still drinking?? What gives. So we went to another bar and carried on, that was a little off putting"

"Stopped in for a quick bite Friday night and as food came out super quick it was a very quick dinner. The service was friendly and a very nice atmosphere in the restaurant. We ordered a few shared dishes from a well thought out menu. The beef ribs were definitely the highlight and we were told its the house specialty. The pumpkin sounds great on the menu and the flavours work well but don't think it was cooked for long enough so didn't have the caramelisation the maple syrup should have brought to the dish. Instead it was watery and a little bland. The seafood stew was a little gluggy on top of the rice but had some nice flavours. The peas with feta and mint was fresh and tasty. Definitely worth a visit and will return again especially for those ribs."

"Don't bother ordering the gluten-free pizzas here. The crust looked like a frozen gluten-free pizza crust you get from the grocery store, I was not impressed. There are other better places on Roncesvalles with good gluten-free crusts like Pizzeria Defina, so I won't be coming here again."

"We came here for dinner on a Friday night with seven friends. The restaurant was full, very noisy and we found our conversation sometimes difficult to hear. Our orders were taken quickly, however it took a while for our meals to arrive, quite understandable given how busy the night was. They looked fabulous when they arrived - huge serves and every dish tasted great. The girls loved that each meal was overloaded with veggies. I had the pan-fried salmon and couldn't fault it. We were all too full to order cake and coffee."

"Good Evening x, I guess when the say the first time is always the best experience, they are definitely right. I visited Victor Restaurant three weeks ago, and was treated like gold by Stephanie (I think that is her name- an older caucausian lady). The food was awesome, the ambiance was great and although, Stephanie forgot to charge me for the wine (which I did take notice and made sure I paid before I left) she did a fantastic job. I was so intrigued by how great the food and service was that I decided to skip out on the original restaurant I was going to have my birthday dinner at, and have it at Victor Restaurant. I ranted and raved how awesome the service was to everyone attending but, boy was I wrong.Fast forward to this past Saturday, my guests were NOT impressed. However, I wasn’t aware until I received an unprofessional email titled “ WALK OUT” from Ellen P (the social coordinator) Apparently, one of my guests had walked out on their bill and I was left to pay for them. Well, according to the email from Ellen that was the situation. I panicked as I knew, none of my friends would ever be so disrespectful. I sent out a text to all, when one mentioned she had left her Visa on the table to take pictures outside as the SERVER WAS TAKING SO LONG. She did plan on coming back in, however, the Server started packing up and she forgot to pick her card up and pay. 1) she left her card on the table (nowhere in the unpleasant email from email did it state there was a found card) but, she did mention to me that the server – didn’t know who didn’t pay their bill and that’s all she can help with. Now, any regular server would’ve kept track of who was at the table and who ate what. ( I have friend’s in the business who have mentioned this to me) I also received a complaint that the server accidentally brought out fries instead of Mac n Cheese for one guest. The service was QUITE SLOW – yes, I’m aware there was a party of 15 behind us but, that is no excuse. 9/20 of my guests did NOT enjoy their food. (whether it was cold, or not cooked properly) Also, I had emailed Ellen asking to speak with the Manager and was told by her, she was the manager (let’s just say I assumed that was incorrect as per her title) and contacted the restaurant when I was told, she actually wasn’t the Manager. I then requested a callback from the Owner — which I’m still waiting on . Ellen responded to my email – you can email him. If a customer asks for a callback – rest assure, they want a callback not an email. I also had a friend who had a bill over $200 and she even told me herself, the server was taking so long to take payment, she could’ve walked out but, of course we are not those kind of people. (but you couldn’t tell by the email I received from Ellen).Another guest, had to ask 5 times to have her bill given to her. I’m rather perturbed at the events that took place and the accusation of someone purposely walking out on their bill. Least to say, the female who had let her Visa on the table- had to continuously call the restaurant before she got an answer about her credit card and whether, she paid or not. Unprofessional and definitely disrespectful. Looks like I will not be visiting Victor Restaurant again – do so at your own discretion."

"A group of us booked a table. Friday nights are apparently themed each month. December is seafood and there were a few of us who do not eat seafood. There was a quiche and I don't eat egg. So the staff suggested a plate of sides for my meal. There was quail so I opted for that. It arrived with feet attached. The friend beside me was horrified and had it returned to the kitchen to have the tiny feet removed. Of course it was pink and almost raw. Raw quail is also horrific. The desserts were chocolate pots which were described as melted lint chocolate and anyone could do that! The flan was under cooked as this stuck to the spoon. This is extremely pretentious and really very ordinary food for the price."
