"I only give this 2 stars because there is one young woman who is very pleasant each time I come in. She always describes the menu and lets me know the specials!! However, there is an older lady that works there, who I've constantly had bad experiences with, as well as another friend. My last encounter with her has left a bad taste in my mouth. When I started to order my coffee, the older lady immediately turned around and poured whole milk in my cup. She didn't wait for me to tell her the flavor or if I even wanted the drink hot!!!!! It was demeaning and DISRESPECTFUL, to say the least. I took the drink, walked away, and threw it in the trash. I would prefer to lose $10 than deal with her ever again. Customer service can make or break a restaurant. This lady has broken it for me!!! I will not recommend this establishment again."

"So please note that if you stay here, you will be treated like it’s your home away from home!! Such a wonderful, clean Hotel, with even a better staff! From front end to back end, we were treated like royalty at the Hilton Garden Inn, Aiken. This hotel is definitely my choice of Hotel when in Aiken. To give you context, I reside out of town but have a home in Aiken. Last March I experienced a water leak and since that time, I struggled with contractors so I had to keep coming back and needing a place to stay. Fortunately, the one thing for certain was they received us with open arms. When I first stayed at Hilton Garden Inn, they made us feel right at home...especially during the pandemic. The most effective thing for us was their communication and how they kept checking to ensure we were doing ok and that all our needs were met!!! I cannot express the gratitude enough we felt walking in every night and it didn’t matter who was at the desk...the warm greeting...the check ins...the clean rooms and overall friendliness of all their staff. Great Job! Thank you for all you guys have done to make us feel right at home. Neil Nicole B."

"This is a restaurant you must try! I have been going to the fancy Japanese restaurant in Augusta for years but Kobe blew them out of the water! The food is so much better, not just a brick of rice and there is a larger variety of vegetables. Best of all, they are half the price! You can order the steak, and add chicken, or shrimp, or scallops or all if you choose. There is a wait, it is a small restaurant but it is worth the wait. The building is not a beautiful as the fancy restaurant, but the taste of the food and the value of my money is more important to me than having a beautifully painted ceiling. They are opening one in Augusta soon, I look forward to visiting there often."

"Amazing! Absolutely amazing! Been in Aiken a long time and don't eat a lot of seafood. We ordered to go, brought it home, and devoured crab legs, shrimp, corn, and sausage! Why are you waiting Aiken? Don't second guess good quality seafood when it comes to JC's! Just give em a call and order all the crab legs you want! Nothing like dinner in a trash bag. Great job JCs for an awesome dinner tonight!"

"The food here isn't bad, but there's possibly something shady going on. I was not handed a receipt, but the total was correct, as was the debit to my account. Fast forward 2 days and now the transaction amount was updated to double what it originally was. It's possible they kept my receipt and wrote in this amount as a tip. My debit card app always notifies me when a transaction is updated when leaving tips.... I would avoid this place simply for this reason."

"Aiken, I hope you realize the absolute TREASURE you have (I don?t think you do, considering the ?foodie edition? of what to do in Aiken doesn?t even include this GEM). Im from up north and am always on the hunt for a good pizza place. (My daughter and Igo drive to different pizza places) I live north of Columbia and drove an hour and a half to get there and I will absolutely bedoing it at least once a month now. As far as I?m concerned my search is over. New haven style pizza is considered some of thebest pizza in the world, this guy is FROM there and has brought every piece of that truth with him. The crust, cheese, andsauce are all delicious. And the service was great as well."

"Service was slow and the menu is limited now. Our shrimp was hard to peel and the eating area was so hot we couldn't comfortably eat.
