"We went for the weekend with another family with kids, stayed at the hotel, ate all our meals at this restaurant, and everything was fabulous! We were a complicated dietary group (I'm ovo-lacto vegetarian, our friend was lactose intolerant, etc. but the meals never ceased to be delicious and very varied. I'm a foreigner who has lived in Spain 14 years now, and I'm used to eating fried eggs and potatoes all weekend when I go to the countryside in Spain (because there is a lack of awareness about vegetarianism in general once you leave the bigger cities , but this place was great. The cook was the sweetest lady, always looking out for us. Great value, as well."

"It was quite cold, (maybe 10 degrees C), we had to wait in line for quite a while before we finally got a table outside, then nothing happened for maybe 20-30 minutes, no bread or drinks or blanket or contact with the staff, we had to go inside to get a menu, later go inside to tell we were more than ready to order, when we finally got the food it was an OK salad, mushroom risotto and much later a mediocre grilled steak with more fat than meat. Much much later, after freezing for maybe an hour, we got the dessert (not very impressive flan but the vanilla dessert, last one on the menu, was OK) and good coffee (which ironically had «Why not now?» written in Spanish on the cup). The food was OK maybe, the service a disaster. My advise: If you go to this village, book a table in advance in one of the three restaurants with 4,5 point reviews, avoid this one."
