"No.28 on urban lists must-try caffes for a good breakfast. they are not on place 28, but I may add. the list is not in a specific order.<br br>/ if the lists were listed, however, I really believe that Mondays would be top! all about her eating was fresh! the service was so fast. coffee was absolutely amazing creamy smooth. I think they use cocaco beans that is a great mix! <br br>/ my man, I own a 1 year old doberman loves to take him with us when we explore caffes. most of the staff are waiting for him. but here on Monday they have patched him, were not only very friendly to him, but also our dog (with him a bowl of water). all tasted soou well! my man I am not vegan, but vegan or not, I can guarantee them that meals do not disappoint. 10/10 for coffee, food service. I love this place!"

"Was here over the weekend with a group of 24. Most probably the best Valentines in the Auckland Region to date. We'd stopped doing the whole Valentines after some not so pleasant experiences. Food is a vast improvement from a few years ago, nice selections of spreads with steak cooked to your pref. and plenty of fresh seafood. At no time was there an empty tray with food topped up on the go. Service was really good and the staff very welcoming. Thanks for an enjoyable evening."

"Little and Local was just what Snell's Beach needed. This is my go to for coffee when i'm in the area. I love that you can order with almond milk as there aren't many places in the area that do almond milk lattes.<br/ <br/ I tried the chicken burger with chunky potato fries and it was so delicious and filling. I requested for a gluten free bun and dairy free dressing and the chef was happy to create something for me. My friend had the coconut almond granola which looked amazing.<br/ <br/ The service is really friendly and every time I go I am greeted with a smile. If you are gluten free, dairy free or have any type of allergies then they are happy to change the order to accomodate you. We brung my friends dog and sat outside and they brung her a little tub with some water in it which was really nice.<br/ <br/ Next time you are in Snells Beach, check out Little and Local."

"Came here on a Saturday evening. We were greeted by a friendly chirpy blonde girl with an accent. <br/ We were kind of awkwardly seated at the back by a corner where we could see the staff room and all the back door action...preferred not to have. <br/ <br/ We got the Crab and Scampi Rice Cakes and Chilli Prawns for entree. <br/ We got their Beef Cheek special, Lamb Rump, Pork Belly for mains and a side of steamed greens. <br/ <br/ Food took longer than anticipated, given we were one of two tables seated at the time we placed our order; more diners arrived later. <br/ Crab and Scampi Rice Cakes were rarely indifferent to those frozen crumbed fish cakes you find at your local supermarket. Chilli Prawns were too small a portion, albeit it was tender and good balance of spice. <br/ Favourite for me would be the Lamb Rump; subtly smoky tender meat cooked to perfection, sitting on a creamy bed of pumpkin mash purée and peas. <br/ Your knife slices right through the Beef Cheeks, it was such a satisfyingly smooth sensation moving the knife through. The meat literally melts away in your mouth, although it lacked a bit in seasoning. The jus was nice too, but the accompanied Greek salad was a bit ad hoc and could have been more generous. <br/ I’ve heard a lot about their Pork Belly main, but personally I found the meat a bit dry and lacking in flavour. The citrusy Apple purée and walnuts with mash on the side elevated the textures and flavours, as did the pieces of pork crackling. <br/ Steamed greens were broccoli and green beans; which were a bit too salty. <br/ <br/ Service was friendly the whole way, albeit at first my glass of water was left empty for a tad too long. The girl noticed it eventually and made sure our glasses were filled since then. I also want to commend on one of the male staff who seemed like a managerial role who correct our bill at the counter. Occurred to me now that the team at Five are all really young and full of energy! <br/ <br/ Overall it was a good experience but I would recommend more flavours in their dishes.<br/ <br/ Food: 8/10<br/ Price: 8/10<br/ Ambience: 7/10<br/ Service: 9/10"

"Fusion Vietnamese restaurant about 7 blocks from the cruise terminal for those coming off cruise ships which I was. The grilled Hanoi pork was the best entree we had with perfectly grilled and marinaded pork served with lettuce and pork medallions served with vermicelli in a mild nuoc nam sauce. The shrimp cutlet was a generous entree of 9 shrimps pankoed and fried. The grilled octopus was grilled cut up pieces and I wish the serving for this was more generous given the price. The rice rolls were serviceable but as such were also overpriced. The popular jackfruit salad was photogenic but for me a miss, with the featured jackfruit lacking in flavor sufficient to anchor the dish. Interestingly the restaurant has a limited menu of cold diet drinks with the only soft drinks from local karma brand. Its diet cola did not compare well to Diet Coke or Coke Zero. A sugar-free iced tea or an indulgent iced milk tea would be welcomed additions to the menu."

"First, the water tanks in auckland are unique. swimming the living fish is really something, but the same time it is quite sad that they are served as a food on the table. we ordered some mush and lobster, the taste is really good. but the price is very expensive, over $700 only for 4 of us. Of course, this place is not the place to enjoy regularly. but I have to say it's a nice experience."
