"They do not allow made to order sandwiches for the adults but did all order of plain made to order sandwich for kids but then after order completed informed us they were out of the ham. I asked for plain cheeseburger with cheese only. She told me I could only switch the kind of meat (I assume since the burger was a different price than sandwich). We had been a large party of about 16 on 3 separate checks so we must have spent 200 dollars. Burger cost was $9. Usual sandwich for adults with all the fixings was $12. Felt she's should have given me the burgers. Pastrami amount was less than expected on sandwich. No saurkraut. They did not put salad dressing with salad. Staff less than friendly. I did like they had paper boxes. Serves with fries. No option given. I would've preferred something else since heavy fries at beach does not feel good. Wish we'd gone somewhere else"

"Fat Cats offers beautiful views, competent staff, and decent food at decent prices. The butterflied Gulf prawns were a little disappointing, but only because I know the real deal. Ain't nothing better than fresh Gulf shrimp. Not bad, just not what I had hoped they would be and nothing like you'd find on the Gulf Coast. The rice pilaf is excellent, with fresh vegetables. Some of the best I've ever had to be honest. I don't usually use cocktail sauce, but theirs is delicious and I did dip the shrimp into it. My fiancée's fish and chips was okay, with large portions. I noticed that those who ordered breakfast were getting huge portions, too. If everything had been as enjoyable as the rice pilaf it would have been a five star experience. It's actually closer to a 3 1/2. Nothing was bad, it just was just lacking... something. We walked away fed, but somehow underwhelmed."

"Beautiful view off the pier, but the food was disappointing. The garlic fries had too much garlic on them which didn?t taste good, the crab cakes were just okay, and the crab melt tasted like fake crab and not much else. It was pretty expensive for what we got. Wouldn?t recommend. Also, the bathroom was pretty gross. Crab cakes $14 for 2, crab melt $15, garlic fries $6, steamed veggies $4. Just keep an eye out for the birds! They?ll try to get your food sometimes if you sit outside"

"Was so excited to try this place. My husband and I thought we found another local gem, but after waiting 55 minutes for our lunch, we were brought the wrong food. I got up and asked for my money back. They said of course, but then our meal was ready which were only 2 cold sandwiches. We sat and ate. I never got my money back and it wasn't cheap! 2 sandwiches 2 drinks a bag of chips and tip was about $50.00. The whole experience was over 1 1/2 hours for 2 sandwiches. Horrible service!"

"4 out of 8 Ordered the scallops shrimp rice special. Scallops were cold and raw inside but didn’t want to make a fuss, we all were sick the next morning. Should have made a fuss. Beautiful table, great service. 3rd time eating dinner there and food is subpar. But will we return for the ambience… probably:"

"The food and prices were on point. There was a lack of free water, but I had a beer so that didn't really affect me but I took notice. Taco Shack was fairly busy but they got our order out quickly. Also the restaurant was very clean despite being next to the beach. I'll likely visit again."
