"We had the Kaiserschmarren, you have to say for 9,90 € very clear. Everything else we saw was good and plentiful. The service was apparently overwhelmed or she didn't like tourists. Half a dozen we had to call to pay. Other guests are beaten once, they were immediately cashed. Every time she said she was coming, but didn't come. Therefore, no good assessment."

"Best Italian food, all fresh, prepared with love and skills. Always friendly service, fast and helpful. Familiar atmosphere, old stones but elegant and chic furnishings. Narrow lane along the river, not easy to find, but well worth the trip in any case."

"The Hotel and Restaurant Altes Ferry House is home to two Michelin-winning restaurants, the star-restaurant esskultur and the home kitchen awarded with a BiB Gourmand. The Old Ferry House is located just outside Bad Tölz directly on the Isar. In beautiful weather you can sit directly on the Isar on the terrace and dine. During our visit, the weather was rather overgrown, so we sat in the cosy but modern interior. In the home kitchen there are classic upscale cuisine with South Tyrolean impact (the owners of the hotel are South Tyrolean, so it does not always have to be the star restaurant. The card is relatively small, yet everyone should find something for themselves. We had opted for soups (Rinderconsomme carrot ginger snacks as an appetizer, these were really seasoned and therefore both recommended. The main course was the Wiener Schnitzel and the Saibling. Both also tasted excellent. The strawberry room as a finish was then a real dessert highlight, absolutely recommended. Price/performance are harmonious and absolutely suitable (Wiener Schnitzel 22,50 €, Saibling 21 €, Vorsuppen 6,50-8,90 €, Dessert 6,90 € . The service staff was very nice, accommodating and took care of the guest. We can recommend the home kitchen of good conscience. Free parking is available directly at the hotel (limited or if occupied in the immediate vicinity. Reservation is recommended, credit card payment is possible."

"The French Café The owner is very dedicated and she is very committed to the well-being of her guests. She made two vegan crêpes for me and they were very delicious. Thank you for your attention I would like to have awarded 5 points, but it is possible to give only 4 points because the café is not vegan."

"We just visited Bad Toelz on our Alpenstrasse trip. We had two pizzas and some water, wich was served with a smile, was great. Not much more you can ask for."

"We ate in this Italian pizza restaurant on the basis of positive online reviews and its proximity to our hotel (literal over the street.) they would never know that this restaurant is here, unless they live near as it is on a quiet side street. my partner and I...both had vegetarian pizzas that had a lot of Mediterranean sweets, but a bit too much cheese for my pleasure. the basic was thin and crispy and felt authentic Italian. we ordered a large bottle of still water to share, but were fizzy water brought, like all they had; the bottle was open before we could refuse. the pizzen took on one because to get at the table, but were cooked and ordered clearly."

"Very friendly service! We were offered an English menu. The bruchetta and yoghurt with muesli and fruit were delicious. But the best thing about this place was ofcourse the view on the Isar."
