"The perfect venue for a spot of lunch and just a mile up the road from our house. The staff were great.....friendly jolly and efficient. The food is so tasty and delicious. We've been here many times since moving to this area and it'll always be a favourite pub/restaurant for my Husband and I."

"Adam made our afternoon tea extra special. The food was great, with a well thought out menu and Adam catered fantastically for a gluten free group member. A vintage theme ran throughout the afternoon tea, with specially chosen linen used, in keeping with a 1950's theme. The assorted open sandwiches had a variety of traditional and contemporary fillings and accompaniments, each flavour well thought out. The sweet selection was fantastic. Freshly baked scones, served with clotted cream and jam, biscuits, lemon drizzle cake, gluten free brownies; all perfectly baked. The selection of teas, coffees, hot chocolate and prosecco meant everyone was well catered for. Thanks Adam for all the effort you and your team put in to the afternoon. It was greatly appreciated. "Well what can I say?? Currently sat in their beer garden after having the most fantastic meal! My husband and I had the prawns and mushrooms to start, followed by fish and chips and the best steak I have ever eaten. Cooked to perfection and all for the same price as Weatherspoon’s. I’m surprised this hidden gem is not busier. Would recommend to everyone"

"This is my local, very pleased that I can say that if I have ever family or friends about it, in the rule where we end up in the rule for a meal. since the new management team took over the food, it has just become better and better, although it was very good from the first day. they now have a very good choice of real ales from a local brewery, do not drink camp or wein, but am reliable informed that the selection of both are first advice. always welcoming with a bright airy feeling for each area, both inside and outside. always greeted by cheerful friendly staff who always seem to go this extra mile to receive them and they feel so welcome, always smiling and attentive, without being pressing. if they would always recommend a visit, they will not be disappointed and I feel sure how I will return them again and again."
