"I really enjoyed my food here. Staff were really lovely too and I didn't feel rushed eating my food. It was warm outside so I tried the watermelon salad. I think they converted me as I'm not really used to watermelon in an actual salad but it was lovely. The tofu bites were fantastic too they weren't very crispy but I liked that really and the dipping sauce was good too. If I'd have had more time I would have come back for dinner!! It's not super cheap but quality taste and presentation are worth paying for."

"Large American-style restaurant on the Brighton coast. Really good food, burgers, hot dogs, chicken, ribs all generously cut, some dishes are huge, I had the full plate of ribs and was beaten by him, the meat was juicy and fell from the bone. The staff was very fast and helpful. Will definitely visit again, very soon."

"Not so dog friendly. Although they accept dogs here, it's not a place to bring them. The gardens in front of the hotel is the only restricted space in Kemp Town that you are not allowed to take your dogs on. There are six alternative open spaces within two miles of the New Stein. See the sign from the council. Which is absolutely terrible if you need to take your dog out for a quick break at night. The hotel also has a restriction that you are not allowed to leave your dog in the room unattended. So you can't leave them for an hour or so to go out to a restaurant or bar. Yes there are dog friendly places to go but not if you want to go somewhere upmarket that dogs are not allowed. Parking is a joke. On street parking outside the hotel is £14.80 for 24hrs pay and display. You can get a discount voucher from the hotel which is only valid in permit holder resident bays which are nowhere the hotel. That's if you can find one after driving round and round endlessly. The hotel itself is run by a French gentleman who can be very off hand with answers to any questions you have. Rooms are clean and compact. Bathrooms small with the flow of water from taps as slow as an old man with prostrate problems. Full English if you can call it that. See the pic. At £12.50 was not worth it. Which took at least half an hour from ordering. Staff were pleasant enough. Booked here because it's supposed to be AA four star and recommended breakfast. The inspector must of been Stevie Wonder."

"I ordered the chicken noodle box and when I have had this before it was ok, but this time I asked for some extra light soy sauce to be added after it was cooked and when I got it back to work to eat, they had added enough dark soy for it be a soy soup which made it inedible. It was not cooked enough so it wasn't hot enough, nothing was raw as they don't use raw meat, it's pre-cooked so no risk of getting sick, but it tasted terrible. This is last time I eat there, we have plenty of options in Brighton and will go anywhere else."

"Went for bottomless brunch for the 1st time here and the alcohol was amazing and free flowing. Becca who showed us to our table was lovely and friendly and our waitress Ruby was FANTASTIC could not of done enough for us. Was so good at replenishing our drinks and always asking if we were OK! Only downside is the food as the plates were quite small and not filling enough! After 2 hours of bottomless drinks we were all very tipsy but throughly enjoyed our time!!"
