"While staying at the adjoining Royal Orchid Hotel we used the Venues at the Roca Mar several times. In addition to the main restaurant we lunched in the Rocky Bar several times in all cases the food and service were excellent. The Rocky bar on...a terrace overlooking the ocean is available for lunches and snacks from late morning to late afternoon"

"We ordered twice for pizza delivery during our week in Garajau. Pizza was very tasty and delivery was prompt. A few problems when ordering the second time due to the language barrier, but we managed and they were very accommodating."

"Both the service and food here was fantastic. I ended up here 3 times during my stay. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. It was like being at a friends house. The food was super tasty with alot of vegetarian choices … I would recommend...the bruschetta and the pizza parmigiana. I’d definitely return again when I’m back in Madeira."

"This place is very popular with the locals and I can see why. The food is ridiculously reasonable and delicious and home cooked. I strongly recommend the swordfish fillet which was only €5! The manager was really friendly and the place was very clean. I will definitely come again."

"After being disappointed with our hotel meal and a few other places we found this little gem. The food is amazing and the prices are way cheaper than everywhere else! We had a fish soup for lunch, we split one portion for both of us.. that's how massive it was! Russian ravioli's are amazing and you also get a shot of vodka for it! While I'm writing this review I'm waiting on my tiger prawns and my man is waiting on his chicken escalope. Oh, and you get your country flag for the table."
