"Great casual atmosphere and very buzzing vibe as its just near the train station. Can see the trains arriving at the station which was my son's favorite part! We ordered a noodle, fried rice with salted fish, steamed mussels and a deep fried pork knuckle. The noodles and rice were excellent. However we found the mussels and pork hock a bit dry. Service was good and the place was really popular. They have upstairs seating too. We would come back for the noodles and rice dishes for sure."

"Read some reviews comparing Khao Pla with this one, I got to say I still prefer Khao Pla over this one, although this one is also nice.<br>
Had the famous Fried chicken wings, was pretty good, as good as the one from Khao Pla. <br>
Had octopus too, was ok.<br>
A chicken mince dish with rice, altho the staff warned us that one was spicy, I didnt really take it seriously, as so called "spicy" in Sydney was never really spicy. But this one was REALLY spicy, that I, who is used to have spicy food, couldn't take more than two bites, and drunk the cold water for the whole meal time afterwards. But it was tasty indeed.<br>
Another wok fried beef dish in curry paste was ok, average, spicy too.<br>
Those were too much for two people ( me and my bf), couldnt finish them.<br>
Overall it was nice."

"I love the satay with their special source. The service was good, just press the bell and you will be served. Also like to roti bread varieties.Don't forget to go to the Gondola Ice cream shop after lunch or dinner for dessert, it is just a few shops away on the same side of the street."

"Went there and try when they first opened, it was better. Last week, went there , the waiter incorrectly ordered the wrong food for us even the fact that I confirmed with him twice. When he placed the food on our table , he realised he made a mistake , however , he didn't want to do anything but force us to keep the wrong order. All dishes were soaked in oil and salt. Not worth the expense price. Couldn't keep the original level anymore. Won't go again."

"This restaurant is so underrated! Their Sichuan fried chicken was the best I have had in Sydney. The Sichuan wontons were delicious and tasted like they were homemade. And the Sichuan cold chicken noodle was enormous, and also delicious. In fact all the serving sizes were extra large, and amazing value. Would give 6 stars if possible."

"Went there on a Friday night (last night) for an early dinner (voucher), straight away greeted by a warm welcome by the person in the bar. We were given a choice of where we wanted to sit. He Showed the menu and explained what we...can have. He was very attentive and consistent in his warm and friendly service without being intrusive. Offered to take photo of our family when he saw we were taking shots of each other. Knew when to refill our water without being asked. Even wiped our table clean to prepare for dessert one of the services I've only seen at Dinner by Heston. Felt bad that I didn't leave tip for him last night so instead I'm writing this review to recognise the great service we had. By the way the food is not bad either. We had the course meal deal and the stand out dishes for us are the satay chicken -so moist, juicy and tasty even without having to dip in the sauce , very generous portion too sticks for an entree. The calamari salad was also good. Calamari is cooked well -very tender, I love the dressing of the salad good balance of sweetness and acidity. Spiced poached pear was so yummy, scooped all the juice out to try and work out what's in it. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Thank you for the wonderful evening."
