"Turkey wraps were good, but waiting 30 mins. for them was not. It was at least 15 mins between orders coming from the kitchen. Never had cheese puffs in a restaurant, unexpected side that my husband enjoyed. With an event in town, retailers andrestaurants need to be at the top of their game. Lots of out of town visitors to frequent the establishments. Maybe we?ll trythe ice cream next time."

"I give them 4 stars because the food was good but even more than that, being out of town-ers, we didn't know that reservations were preferred. On a busy Friday night, they found room for us and we were able to eat dinner. Menu is a bit pricey so we stuck with a basic cheeseburger and fries. I had a IPA beer and my wife had iced tea with our meals. The burgers were very good and the fries were homemade--crispy on the outside with the skins on. The bill came to under $30 which was more than reasonable. Bar selection is limited to just wine and beer but that was ok. We go to Chestertown every year for the Warrensburg garage sales and probably will return next year for a meal."

"Just had a great sandwich! I went to order a cake for a party and the smell was just too tempting--ordered grilled ham and cheese on pretzel bread. Oh yum! Love the cheese they used. Hubby got into other half and now it's all gone. Homemade chips pretty delicious, too.Can't wait to try the cake next week.Update! The cake truly was the best vanilla cake I ever ate. It was so rich, yet not over-sweet. Everyone was saying the same thing--so full of flavor, but not sickening sweet. Trying to think of when I can have excuse to order cake again....."

"A really pleasant hotel. Excellent restaurant. Rooms are beautiful, definitely better than the typical Adirondack family owned hotels. The location is close to Lake George Village. So if you cannot book a room in the village itself, Friends Lake Inn is a great place to stay. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 4"

"Nice to have gluten / airy free options, but overpriced, smokey napkins. Our salads, very small for the price of $12, had about 1 TBS of hummus and a barely noticeable crushing of cheese. No recipe for returns."
