"It is a first class Italian restaurant with emphasis on perfection of traditional meals. Outstanding in Darmstadt! Nothing for individuals that have not learned to appreciate quality and amibtion in dining. Compared to Gianni in Mannheim and Carmelo Greco in Frankfurt as other top list...Italian restaurants in the region, the atmosphere is warmer and less distinct. Furthermore the meals are more classicalally arranged which I personally prefer"

"Not to be confused with the "Schlossgarten Cafe" in the Martinsviertel, "schlossgarten" is the open air cafe actually in the Schloss.It's a delightful place to sit, although they have cut the trees back recently (visited July 2016) so not as much shade as there used to be. The Rhababerschorle is delicious, the cakes and small lunch specials (e.g. Bulgursalat) normally also pretty good.Prices very reasonable.The only drawback is the service. It can take a while to get attention and for drinks to come, even when it is not so busy. One gets the impression that the servers are somewhat untrained students. So, my advice is be patient, relax, enjoy the scenery and atmosphere. But still, it would be nice if service were quicker!If you found my review helpful, I would appreciate your vote."

"The freshest baked goods are always available directly from the oven. But there are not only porcelain, but also coffee pieces and super delicious pizzas. On request you will get everything warm again. The price-performance ratio could not be better. The staff is always friendly, despite great stress. Very recommended!"

"Nachdem wir mehrere Pizzen in Darmstadt probiert habe und nie wirklich umgehauen wurden, sind wir durch Zufall auf "Da Cappette" gestoßen und werden nicht zum letzten Mal dort gewesen sein. Der Chef des Hauses hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Pizza dort ist außen knusprig, innen weich, so wie es bei einer Pizza sein sollte. Die Produkte auf der Pizza waren alle frisch und es lagen keine - wie man es von manch anderer Pizzeria kennt - Dosenpilze darauf. Gute Qualität hat jedoch ihren Preis, die Pizzen sind im Durchschnitt etwa 1-3€ teurer. Von anderen Gerichten können wir bisher noch nicht berichten, aber die Pizzen sind sehr lecker!!!"

"Das Bembelsche ist ein gemütliches, uriges Restaurant. Hier bekommt man Gerichte und Beilagen aus traditioneller deutscher Küche, die man mittlerweile nicht mehr oft findet. Neben der traditionellen Karte mit div. Schnitzeln (auch "Kochkässchnitzel"), super Steaks und dem "Bembelburger" (Hacksteak mit viel Salat zwischen zwei dunklen, gerösteten Brotscheiben) gibt es eine wechselnde, sehr abwechslungsreiche Wochenkarte. Sehr gut sind die saisonalen Wildgerichte (Hirsch oder Wildschwein)."

"Fantastic beef fillet with grilled vegetables. Paired with a matching red wine. A pleasure. A little greeting from the kitchen in advance rounds off the feel-good factor. And at the end of the day, the chef comes out of the kitchen to make sure his guests enjoyed their meal. My absolute favorite Italian restaurant in Darmstadt. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"

"Hier stimmt Preis-/Leistung sehr gut. Ich hatte eine gegrillte Sepia mit Gemüse, wie bei Italienern üblich, natürlich extrem viel Öl und Fett dran, aber egal. Das Teil war gut gebraten, etwas salzig, aber das kann ja mal vorkommen. Mein Kollege hatte den Pulposalat (kalte Speise), die war wunderbar. Kurzum: Keine extrem geniale Küche, aber trotzdem recht gut. Mit einer Flasche Wasser waren wir knapp unter 30 Euro. ec Karte wird genommen, Bewirtungsbeleg gibt es auch."
