"We stayed overnight on our way from Scotland to Dover. West Haddon is near to the M1 but the village is quiet and the Hotel situated on the Main Street. The room was comfortable and the restaurant food was very good. Staff were all very friendly and efficient and breakfast was very nice."

"Absolutely fantastic breakfast real quality food and lovely surroundings. Kids got a bag of activities that kept them happy then we me Santa Claus who was absolutely spot on. He had my kids asking questions and laughing, us adults too were in stitches . The kids received a real quality gift each and we were all so happy at the amount of time we got to chat to Santa . Thank you so much ."

"I honestly didn't think I'd picked the right place when I saw the star rating of this place. It most certainly deserves 5 stars! My husband and I visited in the summer and we both had a very reasonably priced giant baked potato for lunch, cooked beautifully (wish I'd put something on tripadvisor then) . Just gone for our second visit and was so happy when I saw the vegan range added to the menu.fantastic choice, I had a smoked harrissa houmous and chargrilled pepper sandwich, the bread was so light and soft and the flavour of the filling was divine. We would usually be fine dining in a hotel this time of year but because of this virus we haven't... Quite glad actually as that sandwich will take a lot of beating in the taste stakes!"

"This pub/restaurant was picked using a 'halfway between ' website as we were meeting friends from Lichfield. Their website looked good and so we booked. The tables were sticky, presumably as a result of too much sanitiser. The menu was not extensive but adequate for all tastes but the food was not presented well and one order of lamb burger looked pathetic. My fish was overdone but as we had had a fair wait for service we persevered. Desserts were ok, but I question the brain of the chef/server in serving my ice cream dessert on a red hot plate. We are not food snobs we ask only good food at reasonable price The prices here are expensive for what we were served."
