"Who knew there was an inner city of el segundo. loved the decoration and the mood of the restaurant. the personal was also very friendly and service was prompt. that was good. the ceviche was the best we ordered. large pieces of fish and garnel and the mango just added a beautiful level of sweet. the crab and the basque dish were interesting. it was more like a crab filled in a puff bakery dish. the consistency was kind of muddy, but it tasted ok. the Ahi-skewers were fresh, but only little taste. I wouldn't mind giving them another try, as they had more on the menu I want to try."

"A really nice place at AC Hotel. Had dinner reservations and the hostess did not seem to see or review me. Asked for inside seats and there were none. Heat lamps outside were broken and it was too cold to sit outside. Saw at the bar. Filled water and plates were placed on the bar to pour and disperse for ourselves. My dad had the train Mi Tacos and I had the chicken bread. Delicious. There was also live music. I would try again during the day."

"Have eaten here several times. Was surprised that with a reservation we were still sitting at a booth looking into the kitchen. We could have asked to be moved, but we didn't want to. The waiter was very enthusiastic, but failed to fill glasses of water without being asked. My husband's lasagna was a huge brick in the middle of an unadorned plate. A little salad or something green and crispy would have been nice. Not an à la carte fan, especially when it comes to the price of the main course alone. The room was very dark and a bit noisy. I would ask not to sit in this area another time."

"My husband and I came here for dinner on a Friday night with a last-minute reservation that I'd made on Yelp. Once arriving promptly at our reservation time, we were seated immediately. The restaurant is average size, with only an indoor dining area. The hostess showed us to our table, which was oddly, in a U-shape. We were seated at the base of the table next to one another. I've honestly never seen such a table shape in a restaurant before that isn't teppanyaki and I found it quite odd. They had two such tables like this, and it was a bit loud with the chatter since you're seated so closely to other people. We were brought waters and menus immediately. They have very filling gozen options that have a lot of variety, which I liked. I heard that they were known for their tonkatsu, so my husband got the kurobuta tonkatsu gozen. I got the unagi gozen, which also came with a small piece of tonkatsu. The meal serving was quite big and I was only able to finish half of my unagi. Everything was delicious and fresh and the serving was generous. Even though I only finished half of my unagi, I was extremely full. Would highly recommend Kagura for an inexpensive, yet high quality meal."
