"If you’re feeling like Japanese in Fitzroy. This is the place to go!<br/ <br/ Cool decor and an active vibe with everyone in there. <br/ Service is served with a smile and is fast. <br/ <br/ Not somewhere to go if you like a quiet dinner as it gets loud. I noticed booths there for groups which looked good. <br/ <br/ Will be coming here again!"

"We came for a work Dinner and the place was pack so we where seated outside the open area. The menu had a great selection of Thai cuisine. The food here is surprisingly very good full of flavour and well presented. The only let down that night was the service, the waiter was good, very polite but doesn't seem switch on we where getting serve with the wrong food. The drinks takes so long to come but apart from that it was a good venue and I will definitely come back here and recommend it to my friends."

"Recently came here to have a cuppa, read the last chapter of my book and a bite to eat. What a gorgeous little place. Inside there is plenty of places to sit as well as a courtyard out the back. Food was very nice, coffee hot and was allowed to just do my own thing without being bothered.The chunky chips were delicious and a friend who dropped in proceeded to eat almost all of them. When I asked for extra sauce, it was delivered quickly and we weren't charged for it. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Parking is the usual you'd expect on Brunswick Street - observe time limits. Toilets clean. Staff are delightful"

"I would often pass this place for lunch, but decided to go. I initially did not want to pay $19.50 for a smashed Avo, but then it noticed mushroom and grilled tomatoes with the price quite standard. The dish had its good and bad points: the toast was just a bit on the soggy side and the Avo seemed somehow mixed with it to be almost like a substance. I also do not understand the uncommon presentation style of dumping a ton of bean sprouts above. After saying that the sides were not token vegan afterthoughts, with the decent size Portobello mushroom is a highlight. Ultimately, although I'm not sure I'm a point of choice of the record again. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and I enjoyed relaxing here with a coffee."

"It had been a long time since I’d eaten here. There was a time when I was here every weekend. On this visit I ordered the large vegan nachos 18.50 $1 to veganise) for a late lunch. There are cafes in Melbourne with more ‘gourmet’ nachos, but I really think Trippy’s are like a benchmark for good vegan nachos: tasty, substantial and not omitting any ingredients (such as cheese or sour cream) to veganise. I have an inkling the serving sizes are bigger in Fitzroy than in St Kilda, and I was pushing it to finish the large ones by myself."
