"We have had many great family meals in The Cove over the past five years, and this was about 6 months after our last visit and put simply I was left with the impression that prices have gone up and quality has gone down...The menu has been changed, prices seemed higher but we expected this was a seasonal change. However, when the food arrived the size and quality of the portions wasn't a match for the prices. So disappointing as quality has always been very good on previous visits.With newly refurbished restaurants opening in the main Patterson Lakes shopping centre, which we have been impressed with when we visited, unfortunately there are now better options in the area. Still good for drinks, but no longer the best option for a restaurant meal."

"Haven't visited here since it was the Aberdeen,but was pleasantly surprised by the improvement. Tried the calamari which was pretty good. BYO wine and beer makes the experience cheaper."

"Went here to grab a takeaway coffee and egg and bacon sandwich. The price was what I expected for the area but the quality of coffee was superb as was the customer service and speed it all came out to me. Whilst waiting for my coffee, I saw the other tables getting their food and it looked amazing. I will be coming back here for a sit down meal."

"We went for our second visit this week. The food is delicious and hard to match or beat elsewhere. We ordered the same as the previous time as it was hard to beat and also good value. My only complaint is the size of the Roti serve (compared to the local Indian restaurant). Otherwise happy to return again soon!"

"Good location , great to finally see a cafe utilising the waterfront of Patterson lakes at last. Pork buns were yummy a little overpriced but just after my recent trip to Bali I guess everything food wise feels like that ."

"I went to Mr Smoke Stack last night and was thoroughly impressed. While the venue itself is nothing fancy and quite loud at times, the pizza is phenominal and more than makes up for this. Great selection of pizzas to choose from for all tastes. We ordered the Smoke Stack pizza and the Prosciutto pizza and were thoroughly impressed by both. The base of the pizza is thin and crispy, the toppings generous and the flavors magnificent! I was particularly impressed by the service. Although it was extremely busy when we arrived at 7pm, and the staff were inundated with both take away and eat in pizzas to make, they were still so freindly, welcoming and attentive to our needs, even checking in to make sure we were happy with our pizzas. While the pizzas are a little more expensive than others in the area (approx $15 for a small, $20 for a large), the quality of the pizzas was worth it and I would happily pay a little more for a terrific pizza. The only down side to Mr Smoke Stack is that they don't offer the option of half-half pizzas (half one topping, half the other), however I was still extremely happy with my experience here. Will definetly be back again and would highly recommend Mr Smoke Stack to any pizza lovers out there!"
