"In the past Lat 43 has been a great place to eat. Saturday 3/17, hopefully, was an aberration. We had 6:30 reservations and everything (drinks, apps, meal) came so quickly we were done by 7:05. The waitress rushed us out of there, even though the place was half empty. And the food was subpar, I was sick the next day. I will give the place another chance since it's been spot on in the past. But I won't go until the weather is nice enough to sit outside and be served fresher seafood than what I had the other night."

"Great place for good drinks, apps and many TVs for a fun place to see games. The waiting staff worked out their butt, but they definitely needed help. The views are great. Love the atmosphere. It only needs more employees."

"What an oasis in a sea of blah, so restaurants today.... the owners were hands on, super friendly and so hospitable. We felt at home in the minute when we were Jack, one of the owners, was bartending and was quite entertaining on his own thinking Sam at Cheers, but more fun. And the chief/owner Pat came out and we could visit, he recommended the black Haddock-Tacos with Chipotle Aioli and pickled red onions I am so glad that I listened to him! (Just listen to the cooking recommendations!) We started with the sniper. We had to rehearse the fish-chowder as in Gloucester....so I had the Tacos amd my partner had the Clam Roll with Fritten, Coleslaw and a pimple everything exactly as you hope it will be every time. When we talk to the tribals, it sounds like things are always wonderful, I wish only. lived closer (we are in Vt, but we will definitely be back, it is worth the journey! BTW goes to Giants!"

"The lobster was amazing! The outside seats were really nice. I'd come back here. Even if you are a Wicked Tuna fan, Hard Merchandise is parked right in front of the port here. You will also see the Pinwheel."
